Oh yeah....DS dressed in brown today..no problems! Thursday is purple...he doesn't own purple! He has one Easter/Spring shirt with light purple around the bottom. Maybe I will have to put that on him.

Hey, DS has a dark purple polo shirt. He also has orange and light green ones!

Brandi -- I can't imagine there will be a whole lot of boys who have much purple in their wardrobes... unless they are MN Vikings fans!
I actually thought about that! There is NO WAY I would dress my son in a Vikings shirt....even if I had one! I think I will have him wear the shirt with the purple stripe.

I love being a mom. As you know I am a music teacher. Today when he was telling me about class I asked him if he sang a Teddy Bear song and then I started to sing one that I use with my little kids. He looked at me with total amazement and asked me "Mommy, how did you know!" Then he said "Mommy, you know everything!"

I wonder how long he will think that way? :cloud9:

My DS has several polo shirts..but none are purple. I wish he had one for Thursday...but let's face it..it is just PreSchool Colors. It really isn't the end of the world if he only has a purple stripe! :goodvibes

Next week they can wear their favorite color. I know already he will have on RED!!!!

Lisa - the site looks great! You are doing a marvelous, smash-up, knock down, awesome job! Consider yourself commended! :thumbsup2 :teeth:

Dancing with the Stars...TONIGHT
I KNOW what I will be doing tonight at 8/7 central! It is the 2 hour season premiere! That is one of my very favorite shows! I also love Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives.

Did any of you hear anything about Boston Legal? Will it still be on this season? That is an awesome show. I watch almost no tele. in the summer...but I do have my favorites during the year.

HAve Fun Caroline! Your day sounds crazy busy! You must be excited about your DH coming home!

I would be, but there is no way the house will look decent. Our BR is horrible due to the fact that most of the stuff from DDs room is in there as her room didn't get finished. I did all I can, but my friend's DH hasn't come to put in the trim. :sad2: Add to the fact that I am WAY busy today and that I can't keep off of here!! :rotfl:

Thanks for the advice John but believe me I am not planning on doing this stuff just to get it off some checklist. We love to travel and I want my kids to experience so many things. Not because we think they need to but because we want to share these experiences as a family with them. These are places that DH and I really want to go and we want to share that with our kids. Of course I don’t envision us dragging our kids around on all-educational trips but if we do fun stuff like the zoo or an aquarium and they get something educational out of it then that is all the better as far as I am concerned.

We know we will go back to WDW and cruise at least a few more times before the kids leave home (God willing) but for some of our other trips I would prefer they are old enough to understand and enjoy it a little more. We really just need to do a lot of the advance planning so we can afford to do a few of things with them. Some of my favorite and happiest memories with the kids have been during our trips. We are away from the stresses of home and work and we get to spend days at a time together as a family. With us working full-time and the kids in full-time daycare we don’t often get that chance unless we do go away somewhere. We can and do spend quality time together here at home but it seems more special and fun if we are discovering new places/things together at the same time.

That's all that matters Becka!

Good luck!

I am so sad. :( DS is all excited about a new JBJ book that he doesn't have. He got it at the library today. It is the "Big Fat Mouth." I have purposely not gotten this one for him because it talks about the characters. He is insisting on reading it & since it is at school in his desk I can't make it go away. I have made him promise to not talk to DD about that story. I am going to have a sad little boy to deal with this week. I guess that I need to prepare for that talk.

Todd, do you still have the file with the best green background to take out the shadow? If you can fix that & send it to me in a JPEG file I can just add the rope border on my computer & replace it. Also, you can adjust the font size. :thumbsup2

Also, you didn't notice ANYTHING else about the site??? :cool1:

I sent you the file ....The one you have on the web site looks close I believe ....and what should have I noticed on the website ???

Yes, that will be for the shirt backs once Todd tweeks it just a bit. :) The rope border will help to eliminate the color difference since it will seperate it from the actual shirt. You need to get the dark iron on transfers though...right Todd?

Right

PJ - I am so lost on that post - but since you and several others are well gifted in the techie department maybe you can help me. Is there an ipod for juniors? Samantha has recently discoved an ancient portable cd player and she loves it. She is just not to delicate when it comes to changing out the cd's...I was thinking an ipod dealie would do the trick but don't want to spend lots of $$....any suggestions?

Hi v

we got my youngest at sandisk player (it also has fm radio, but he hasn't used it so I'm not sure how well it works)
I got the 512 g for about $40 last Feb - he LOVES it :thumbsup2 - he's also been listening to cd/cassette players since he was Samantha's age

OK I will just have to tell everyone mine! Can't have any fun around you guys can I? :lmao:

I got a HUGE box of random items from Oriental Trading Company that have one special theme that is close to my heart: SMILIES!!!!!!! :sunny:

I have pinwheels, pencils, stickers, pens, key chains, hats, erasers, stickers (including some pirate smilie stickers pirate: ), etc.. all with a smilie theme! :yay:

Alas there are no banana smilies.... but I think they will be fun anyway. They are at least yellow.... ;)

OK Lisa - add it to the website the secret is out. How many of you already guessed when you saw the OT catalog? :lmao:

glad you shared - i had that in my shopping cart as an option for my gift!! :goodvibes
