if you are going top MVMCP, are you dressing up? I was thinking it would be nice to take the family picture they give you in some kind of Disney Christmas shirts but haven't come across anything online. Maybe we'll just get some kind of Mickey holiday hat at the park?

BTW, we're going Thursday night. We haven't been before so not sure what to expect but I'm sure it will be great!

Okay I have been thinking about this , since we are going to be making a spectacle of ourselves on Pirate Night (well probably everynight ) I was thinking ...How many of you have actually gotten your DH's thier costume ??? Wouldnt it be great if we had the whole cast of POTC ??? We have enough people in our group that could look like all the charcters and it wouldnt take that much ...there is so much out there on the internet now through ebay and other resources that almost everyone could be one of the charcters ...So ...Heres just a little list that maybe you could add your hubby to one of the names ...Now I know the kids are going to dress like me and of course Davy Jones and ETC ..I would just like the Adults to try ..LOL

Must have a mustache, because I am not shaving - dark hair would help, and obviously can't be the Orlando Bloom character because I am not young nor slim enough . . .

You are staying at the Contemporary? We are at the Poly and I have been thinking of switching to the CR....not sure yet though.

Dressing up for MVMCP would be cute BUT....
They rush you through there so quick, and you only get one try. Our family look like convicts in our MVMCP photos.

our MVMCP really turned out awesome last year - Samantha turned and gave Haley a kiss on the cheek and they caught it....they also took a photo of the entire family 8 of us and then 4 of us....

go to the photo spot in Adventureland they are usually pretty dead.

I am so sad. DS is all excited about a new JBJ book that he doesn't have. He got it at the library today. It is the "Big Fat Mouth." I have purposely not gotten this one for him because it talks about the characters. He is insisting on reading it & since it is at school in his desk I can't make it go away. I have made him promise to not talk to DD about that story. I am going to have a sad little boy to deal with this week. I guess that I need to prepare for that talk.

I didn't at first - but now I think its Junie B. Jones - she's a 1st grader (I think) and she has a smart (is that the right word?) mouth - I didn't like the way she talks either - and the teacher was reading these books to the kids in class!!

When I called they didn't have any rooms for Friday night, but our TA (Barb at Platinum) found us a room a few days later. She said there is a convention that is booking up Friday night. I don't know if that's just the Contemporary or what. So if you're thinking of moving, you might want to look into it now, and hang onto your Poly res until you know for sure!

We have never stayed at any of the WDW resorts, just picked Contemporary because it looks close to MK where we will be Thursday night and Friday.

You guys are in Florida so you'll be cold enough to wear winter clothes, but anything over 50 degrees and my dh will be wearing shorts -- not too Christmassy for photos ops!

Are you going to MVMCP Thursday or another night? We chose Thursday, hoping it won't be too crowded. I read that it really empties out towards midnight! Friday night is out for us; I would like to get the kids to sleep at a reasonable hour so they are not cranky Saturday.

Halloween Help!!!!

Ok here is the situation. DD is going to BBB before the cruise and she is getting the whole Ariel package with the dress and everything. We will also let her buy an additional dress to take on the cruise. Problem is: We told her she could be whoever she wanted, which of course is Ariel, but are not really thrilled about buying another Ariel dress in 2 months so we told her not to forget about BBB and now we have 5 choices. She wants to see them all before she chooses, and I have to order everything online because I live in the mountains. She is leaning towards Barbie Fairytopia or Belle, but here is my question, what are all of your kids going to be on halloween? Is there a cool thing I don't have a catalog for?
