I actually have shrimp in the fridge and some sushi I bought last night. But someone has to do something with the shrimp and if DH doesn't volunteer, it will be me.

My plans for this weekend:

Tomorrow - DH has to take DD to horse farm (it's her Saturday to work)

I'll be volunteering at our Bernese Mtn Dog Club Show tomorrow.

Which reminds me - Abby needs a bath tonight...Here doggie, doggie, doggie gotta go to the dog wash place before 7pm....

DD has alter service on sun morning so no sleeping in this week...

Guess everyone is eating dinner. I'm sure my DDs wish they were too. Doubt I will be at chat. The trim is up, but I have to get some caulk and painter's putty or some such nonesense, then paint over it. I think we may start to move DD back in tonight! At least by tomorrow morning.

The other stuff that has to be done can be worked around her stuff, but I think she will want her door on right away.

Wow, buddy list says NO ONE is on line?!?!?! A first during the day for me!

I'm thinkng we will run to Lowes to get the stuff and let DD pick out a light then eat at the restaurant. No cooking or dishes! YES!!

Tomorrow will also be clean house for us too since everything is a mess with DDs stuff everywhere. I will be so happy to see the floors again! We do have our first fall softball game at 3. A small chance for rain right now, but hopefully it will stay away.

We're still planning to go to Sesame Place on Sunday. Anyone close wnt to come?? My sister, her DIL, my niece and their little ones will be coming with us. They won't think it is "strange internet people" if anyone else were to come.

Forecast says sunny and high of 82, and that is here at the shore, so maybe hotter there!?!?! It will be nice if we can get a last dip in the water. We are also looking to go at least one more time when they have their Halloween things going on.

It looks like I have about 10,000 posts to catch up on but I do have this weekend alone to do it. DW is off for a weekend scrapbook camp near Fredericksburg, Virginia. That leaves the dog and I to catch up.

summer is over? what? Tell that to FL!! It's hot as all get out here!

It's still pretty warm here too. Does this happen in Fla? You go out to shop in Sept and all you can find are sweaters but you can't wear them for two more months? Hopefully you have enough resort wear available there to get through the not so summer months.

I have to talk DD out of wearing long sleeves to school at least twice a week.

She said the rooms are remarkably clean. Her floors however may need more work.

Ok, so I feel guilty about no card on Grandparents day now despite the fact his mom is the only grandparent around - I didn't know it was here, coming, past etc. Neither did he or he would have gotten a card.

We have never given, or gotten, grandparents day cards. Just seems like another marketing ploy. I called my grandmother every week and told her I loved her, my grandkids tell me that all the time also. I don't need for them to get me card on some specific day. ?????

Thank you!!! That is exactly what I said. He became offended. Hey and I didn't even say what I thinking - Our DD loves her and she doesn't even need to be paid for that emotion like..cough cough choke - phew I almost forgot myself. Must...use....restraint...

Another Halmark Holiday.

I said that after I said the other thing. He was SO annoyed with me. Although my exact words were "Another manufactured holiday for Hallmark"

I gave in and ended up going to Target. I found a ton of little things....3 JBJ books that we don't have (DS will be THRILLED!!!), lots of dollar section Disney princess goodies, shelves for DS's room, GBA Mario Party 50% off!!!!!, and some cool outlet covers for DS's room so that I can get rid of all the car stuff. Everything I bought was on clearance. Oh, I also picked up a kid's snorkle set for 75% off and some speedo goggles too.

Oh man - so I need to go to Target?! Target is my friend. I got a red card Visa just for my Target expenditures and because DD's school gets points for using it.

I went to the kids section to see what the JBJ books are all about, us Aunts need to be up to date on these things. So, could not find anything, help! Author? Age Group?

Ps. this is the way I got started on the HP books, now I am waiting for the last one with bated breath. She needs to get that book out soon or she may lose fans. I know it is coming next year, maybe, but it has been a long wait.
