DS Giona scored 6 goals in his soccer game last night. I was so happy for him - he seriously needed the ego boost. He said it was "sweet". Last year, soccer at age 4 was a disaster. The twins had a terrific soccer camp this summer which they loved and it really seemed to turn the game around for them.

I hope everyone else is having a great soccer season too!!

Is anyone else watching Primetime? They are showing how young girls attack each other verbally at such a young age. Scarey!!!

Kim - I always limit the selection of clothes to 2. Otherwise it becomes a manipulation. Either A or B or if you want - you can put the whole outfit together without my help. I also found it easy to let the clothes thing get out of hand. In the long run I found that it is really better if DD dressed the way she was happy not the way I was happy to see her dressed - even if I do have great taste - LOL.

I keep getting little inklings about the teen years and it is scary isnt' it?

I finally decided that DH & I are going to palos. we've been on the boat twice but never been. we got ressies for tuesday at 7pm. DH agreed that he is taking a sports coat/dinner jacket. he still says no tux. oh well at least I got this far.

I am better informed and now ready take on all new video challenges.

I have read Erma Bombeck but not for many many years. She's a hoot.

I now have a new best friend. She is 11 years old and looks just like me but with straight hair and young skin. We went shopping for a birthday present for a party she is going to this weekend. We also got a bubble skirt and leggings for her to wear. Now she is prancing around the house modeling different versions of what goes with the skirt and leggings.

So seeeee. Even bad Mom days can turn around.

Or, it could be because I spent $$. I hope that's not it.

Yep, you know how to make friends. I saw one of those bubble skirts on a young woman (older girl?) the other day and it looked kinda cute. Not for me though!

My Mom STILL trys to dress me and I hate it! When I catch myself sounding like her with DD I try to slap my mouth shut and leave DD alone to dress herself. The thing is, she has better taste than I do and usually ends up looking great and better than I would have dressed her.
