Jhalkias said:Kim,
Recipe please for Amy????
She is always trying to live up to my mom's mashed potatoes.
Amy made some killer fries tonight with our steak kabobs. Hand cut fresh fries made with olive oil, steak seasoning, and sea salt! I couldn't quit eating them!

kimerinc said:Most Most important thing. DO NOT BOIL THE POTATOES.
Bake them in the oven until they are perfect for baked potatoes. Then scoop them out.
If you are using 5 large potatoes
1 -2 sticks of butter
12 oz cream cheese
lots of salt to taste
1/2 cup sour cream
milk to desired consistency.
Mix the potatoes, butter, cream cheese and salt for 10 minutes, then add sour cream and milk and mix for an additional 5 minutes min.

kimerinc said:umm can I ask a crock pot question? DD and DH do not like bones in thier chicken, so I only did chicken breasts. Kind of dry... So I am going to try a pork roast tommorow. Thought I would use cream of mushroom soup and fresh mushrooms. Any advice?

That is so sweet!Jhalkias said:Well,
Sophia has decided to go into business.
She spends an extra 15 minutes in the shower each night mixing soaps into little bottles of concoctions. She uses the old disney bottles from the resorts. She then makes and glues new labels on them, and wraps them in washcloths.
She then took 3x5 note cards and made money on them and is selling her "soap" concoctions to her mother and I. (she should be in bed!)
She wants to know if we can sell them in the stores.
The girl has an imagination!

V that sounds like more fun than a swim in the pool. Now I am really jealous!lillygator said:everyone is out.....I may have to go to bed early!
We came home and I went to trimming up our birds of paradise (white ones) I have pretty much let the yard go as I never knew what the pool construction would damage. Luckily all my orchids are intact. Now just to transfer all our tropical goodies to around the back of the pool. They are supposed to deliver a truck load od dirt to level up the back and we can get planting!

My cousin went to Ohio State...we could get there in about 10 hours. I am too much of a baby hog....I don't want to share him! Can you even imagine explaining that to my DSIL and DBrother!!!waltsgirl said:How far away do they live from Canton? I have to come and hold that baby!
He is sooooo cute.
Jhalkias said:No advice on the pork Kim, but I am the same way. Funny huh? I cannot eat drumsticks, or wings, or any of that chicken on the bone. No ribs for me either. I hardly ever order the chicken breast on DCL either because it is a "bone-in" breast.
I have a real aversion to bones in my food.
