Ok Lisa - what night are you all dining in Palo? I am trying to figure out which restaurant to miss and how late to dine. I think we did around 8pm last year and it worked out nicely. Now I am getting in the ressie rush freak mode.........Becka ya gotta smiley for that one?

We are really only interested in Sunday. The kids will enjoy the activities in the clubs & we wont miss a big show. We don't go by the dining room or menu...just the show & never on the formal nights.

Lisa - I don't know if you caught this when you were catching up but I ordered some stuff for the adults and kids for the cruise but it is a secret. :ssst: You will all just have to wonder what I came up with! How scared are you now? :scared1: :rotfl:

anyone going to the MVMCP at MK on friday night? pros/cons? trying to decide....

Many of us who will be in WDW Friday night will be at the big DIS meet in Jelly Rolls.

don't forget your stickers and markers for pricing!! LOL

will there be any time for pricing? I don't see it for me...I'm becoming overwhelmed...now our group is trying to figure out what to do pre-cruise on Thur nite-Fri nite....I just want to chill...they're talking MGM, MVMCP, DTD, etc - YIKES!! Also, I'm starting to have $$ issues with the final payment due...I'm like - that's another $500!! I've even been thinking of downgrading our room to save $$

OY!

Honestly after doing this three times, it is better for us to rest Friday night before the cruise. We like to get to the terminal at 10 am when it opens to soak up all the Magic that we can so we need to be in the car by 9 am. The only reason I am interested in going to JRs that night is because so many of the mods from the board will be there so this will be a rare chance for me to meet the people I have been working with...which is really neat. :)

Gotcha! Now...who is bringing the green dry erase boards?????

OMG! They just announced the surprise carrier that will be starting service in Kinston which is about 20 minutes from here. They will only fly directly to Orlando on Monday & Friday. I just checked the cost & it is only $49 each way!!!!!!!! For 2 adults & 2 kids it would be

Trip Price = $392.00
Taxes & Fees = $54.40

Your Package Price = $446.40

Now, I think that we can still drive down cheaper than that and the dates do not work well with our plans but next time maybe? Maybe we can do a trip to WDW easier now?

Well, I have put away all the groceries and packaged up the meat. They had pork tenderloin roasts on sale BOGO and London Broils as well. I got 4 of each & cut them all in half. Now that I have cleaned out the freezers, I can get more. :)

Lisa,
Add us to the list of those bringing surprises for the group. No bananas or other banana/fruit/veggie products in our surprises, though. I'll leave that for John, Becka, and others.

I have a funny story about that...I had to get mine renewed...didn't realize I had to take the test (somthing about too many speeding tickets :confused3 )...so I'm cramming with the booklet while waiting in line (had lots of time :hourglass )...take the test and FAIL!! WHAT?? :furious: me fail a test??? not possible!!! Of course, all the ones I missed where related to speed zones :moped: :lmao:

:lmao: :rotfl: Remind me to move out of the way if you come driving by... :drive: :rotfl2:

still looking at renting the tux....DH looks absolutely dashing in a tux - would make for a good photo as well. :) I need to get a tape measure though.

I found a really nice tux for DH on ebay for the cost of a rental. The only downside of that is having to lug it with us but the way I see it he can either keep it for future cruises or I can sell it on ebay and make all or most of my money back after the cruise. ;)

It just says Booked on the Disney site, but I called DVC and they said it stays that way because they just pay in bulk as we use points not dollars. They told me not to worry, so I won't. :sunny:

Yep, ours just says Booked also and we've been paid off for about 9 months now. I've heard it remains as just "booked" on the site. I really think they should change that though.

Here's something interesting...
Karen's duct tape email and Kim's response went to my regular email folder. John1's response was automatically deflected to the junk mail folder. Hmmm. I haven't done anything to designate anyone any special way. Wonder how other DISers are filtered!

Yes - I think it would be nice for peace of mind!!!

YES! I wouldn't make her stop having fun to go to that. It is for the younger kids...not really that much to it.

Thanks, I'll pass on it then. I think she liked the idea of seeing "Wendy" but I suspected the story would bore her and she doesn't like tea.

There will other chances for her to see Wendy & Peter on the ship. :)

3 am EASTERN time. Midnight for us out here on the left coast. Depends on your time zone.

oh good, that's 2am here in Central land, I can handle that!

Dudes and Dudettes,

Do I set my alarm for 3am on Saturday morning the 9th? AKA stay up late on Friday night the 8th? I'm so confused!

Could you send me a link to the eBay seller you used? I have been looking on eBay but can never make up my mind, much less convince dh. Thanks!!
