Regarding the new navigators....IDK why they screwed them up so much! I HATE the new style but am thankful that they have at least listend to the concerns they received in emails and put the day the kid's activities would happen. I am still going to have to go to the club & lab the first day to get a list...even if I have to just write it all down. My kids only want to go for certain things & I will need to know what to get DD excited about for brunch.

Becka - I love the TV fund.....but we need a "convincing" here....insurance will gladly cover it but I know it will never happen in a million years at my household....

Plus that fund has an alternate name (hence TV Fund) so those same men will even willingly give their money to it if they do not realize what the name of the full fund is. They will think it is just to help fund television and we can tell them we are taking them to a fundraiser to get them to the doctors office!

The word "Twins" does not mean little children...although it can in the case of Brandi and Becka (sorry guys, couldn't help it!) - it means 2 of something else!

I think that would be Elaine - and in her case twins are little children, although she has the other twins too, not Brandi and Becka - but she has done enough reading of this thread to know what we are up to and joined right in!

Did you guys know that the police have known about this plot for MONTHS!!! The reason they decided to act now was b/c the terrorists had scheduled test flights to see if their plans would work. Very scary.

For sure! I am so glad they are out there watching, listening and moving in when they have enough evidence to make it stick. Funny, I am hearing people on the radio saying they are afraid to fly after today. I feel just the opposite. I feel safer today knowing they are doing their jobs well and stopping these attempts.

Ok DIS Geeks! I'm getting ready to head home. This is my Friday so I am very happy! Taking my car in for another 3000 mile check tomorrow. Just did that 3 weeks ago but then we did our big road trip and I am now several hundred miles over due! OY! To quote our lime green leader.

I did consider "Cult of the DDD Cruisers DIS Geeks United" but didn't want to offend anyone by putting cult in the thread. Not anyone in the group now...but anyone not knowing us and just what the word may imply for some people.

Anyhow....you don't think that you would wonder why there were a bunch of people saying that they were geeks? We have them all here....band geeks, techie geeks, greek geeks, D&D geeks, camera buff geeks......

I agree that the outsiders wouldn't understand the use of "Cult" but it can be our secret name.
