I don't think the parks will be all that busy....the MK taping is earlier in the week and the Pop Warner thing goes on at WW of Sports....also they may rent out MGM after 7 and usually the groups will be in there earlier than that.

What parks are you going to?

We are checking in and hanging at the resort, then the MVMCP (got our tix in the mail yesterday!) then on Friday not sure where we are going...I am thinking of sleeping in and then doing the Tea with Alice at the Grand Floridian for Samantha while the rest of us have lunch at GFC. Not sure yet....

Pre Cruise we are doing MVMCP on Thursday night. Friday we are lounging...we will hit up the Disney outlets and maybe have a look at some of the different holiday decorations at the different hotels. When we get back from the cruise we will be doing each of the parks!! We are getting an AP and starting it after the cruise.

The following pictures may be highly offensive to those members of the anticraft support group. This is the project that caused the mess up at WM over the weekend. Half a yard of pillow panels and a couple packs of bias tape. I did the second one this afternoon. Now DD wants to wear both of them when she helps me cook.

The funny thing is I didn't have anything to make the bib out of so I trimmed one side of the pillow panel then cut it in half & sewed it together. Perfect!

Been catching up on the 20 pages I'm behind...

but I have a question from pages ago....

With the new security procedures, I know you can't bring liquids thru security, but after you go thru security, can't you buy a drink at the stands and bring it on the plane? And what about food....can you bring food on thru security or does a snack have to be purchased after you go thru security?

You cannot buy drinks at the stands and then bring them on. They check you again before you get on the plane. Not everyone, but randomly. Food is ok as long as it is not yogurt or jello.

I can just see it now . . . we are going to bust the myth that if you wear flip flops on formal night at the cruise, you will NOT be seated.

For part II, we will have our jeans bedazzled, and see if they can be seen on our behinds on "Google Earth" out in the middle of the ocean!

We also stopped by Lowe's today and picked up a couple of things. A mirror for our bathroom. We are going to get rid of the 1970s medicine cabinet and try to update just a bit. Hopefully $$ at sale. Tomorrow I will get the remaining scraps of wallpaper out of there and then we can take the medicine cabinet out and .

I made Pina Coladas for DrHug and me tonight. Yum! He is not crazy about coconuts , but I found some mix in the fridge (left by our kids no doubt ) and of course we have rum so, I thought what the heck sounds good to me. I used our DCL souvinier drink glasses. Made me feel very

I still need to do airfare. We are still looking at around $300 per person from Phoenix and another $300 for DrHug and I to get to and from Phoenix. Hopefully those will come down a bit after Labor Day. I have been able to find fares to Phoenix for around $200 for previous trips, so I hope they come down this year. I'm hoping for at most around $250 from Phoenix.

Angie, For 4 legs of this trip I get $678 including taxes from Portland to Phoenix, phoenix to Orlando, Orlando to Pheonix and pheonix to Portland. Is that what you were looking at?
