It isn't fair that I have to type over a shoulder just to be included in the fun :(

Sounds like you need to do like John & Amy and get a laptop & go wireless! :cool1:

LOL! That's what made me suspicious about the ID. :lmao: Quite a time to start posting.

Smart man BECKA, it could be scary to collect the main mice, lol. I like Chip and Dale pins. My best one is the DCL Chip and Dale artist pin from May 2002, it was on the first Pin Trading Cruise, they were supposedly sold out, but as i was looking at the normal chip and dale sailor pin, the Retail manager hung the Artist Choice pin on the peg to purchase and winked at me, I was in shock! I had heard tale that there had been some pixie dust in Mickey's Mates that cruise.

Thank goodness for TV Guide online!!! They will be showing JT3 Sunday at 3, then next Friday & Saturday at 8 pm...not that they didn't already watch it twice two weeks ago! OY BOY! They actually think that I am letting them stay up until 10 to watch this mess!!!

wow- I step away from the computer and y'all go into a posting frenzy...

Samantha is watching Tom and Jerry "Shiver me Whiskers" Movie - I never knew they had movies!!

Haley is "reading" books, DH is grilling the steaks and I am manning the shell pasta
side and sauted green beans and onions....while DIS'ing of course.

Lisa - I have yet to do a kids party for Samantha...we;ve been to several the past few years of her classmates and wow I had such a headache and it wasn't even my party. Luckily she is happy with cake and goodie bags at school and a family celebration at WDW. Goodness knows this kid does not need any gifts....it's funny though I think people were thinking they weren't invited to her party because at the last Chuck E Cheese party we went to one mom said well where are you having Samantha's party this year - I explained we've never had one with her classmates yet just family or the four of us!

We have done a big party for them every year. Last year was scaled down for DS...maybe 10 kids, pizza, and a movie here at the house. Two years ago we rented the pool at the Y because we had all of his playmates, play group, preschool, soccer, and the entire kindergarten class...I wont invite a few kids & leave the rest out. Well, only one kid from school showed up. That was the end of including them. ;) Other than that year at the Y and one year on the playground after PS, they have all been at the house. There is no family who would travel here for their parties. We do a small cake on their actual birthday with the four of us...if DH is home that is.

Job stress, 6 new workers two weeks before back to school rush, with only two POS machines to train them on( takes on average two weeks to get a handle on the system.)

:rotfl: had to read your line a couple times before i considered that the machines are called POS machines. I call my computer at work the POS model but that's because it is a P.O.S.

It sounds like your job has gone from bookstore to babysitter having to deal with employees like that.

You need anything stronger than a heating pad? :drinking1

I didn't realize you would be there for the week Angie - you all will have a blast! :)

I just kind of want to be lazy for the two days we are there.....I really only care about going to the party.....although I would like to wander around DTD....as a little girl my grandparents and I would always walk through Lake Buena Vista shops and look at everything decorated and lit. I miss the ice rink they had there as well.....
I'm way behind in posts now. V - it is so far for us that we only get there once a year (at least until we retire!) and so we always spend some time at the parks also.

Angie, we only drive 11 hours & feel it isn't worth it going to PC if we don't spend a couple days at WDW as well. I can understand wanting to stay a while flying cross country.

Harvey who does the institutional sales and shipping, keeps offering Margs, I wish he would bring in the ingredients, lol.

I have been asking for staff for three months and now the manager has ok'ed hiring in the last two weeks. MEN!, (Sorry to our men here on the thread.)

One of the new guys has lost all privileges for the guys on the sales floor and now has gotten his first warning letter. He's pushing every button, who thinks it is right to bring a non employee behind a sales counter to read a magazine taken from another department, when reading on the sales floor is not allow? I feel like his mother. He sits up on the sales counter with his back to the customers or on the floor when helping a customer on the phone. He just started last Wednesday, agh!

Pj

And he's not fired yet??? :confused3 Less than a week?? Whoa!!

Our passports are ordered. We got the photos done at Walgreens and DrHug's was really, really BAD. When we took them to the County Clerk the young lady who helped us said "You look WAY better than your picture!" :lmao: :rotfl:

I posted this on the chat room but I wanted to tell you all about it too. When I was at JFK airport yesterday, there were armed military personnell with machine guns at posts around the airport and walking around. This was a litte unnerving for me, but I understand the concern. What I was more concerned with was how DD is going to react to this. In SLC there were a lot less military, but still there so I am hoping it just really severe at JFK. I just thought you all might want to prepare little ones if you think it is appropriate....

I am going to try to catch up now...

We're taking the kids to get their passports tomorrow. Mine also has to go in for renewal, so that meant a new photo. DS actually has a cute passport photo. The rest of us... well....

Well, maybe tomorrow morning we will find out if Kim had a "wicked" night!

Since we got by that Milestone, I think it is time for bed. These late weeknights kill me. I used to go to bed by 10:00 before you guys!

Wicked was great, but I did not have a wicked night. No pricing for me DH was home.
