BUDDY LIST

1. USER CP - top menu bar
2. SCROLL WAY DOWN, on the right hand menu bar, click on BUDDY/IGNORE LIST.

Pj
I started adding and then thought - what exactly does this do? I have no clue and I'm just adding away. I know the ignore one (I've used that years ago in the DVC forum when there was serious stirring of the pot going on).

Finally caught up from yesterday morning. :surfweb: DD #1 is picking up my DM this morning and taking her up to Mt. Hood for an outing today. I need to make potato salad and apple pies for her BD gathering tomorrow. Most of our family does not care for cake, so we are having birthday pie instead. Lemon and apple. Yum!

From crayola's site (they have stain removal tips for all products on many surfaces)

How to remove Crayons (Regular) from fabrics-fresh stains/heat-set stains(melted):
Materials
Laundry detergent
Liquid dishwashing detergent
WD-40® (car part lubricant)
Bleach for colored clothing (Clorox 2® or Biz®)
Paper towels
Amodex® ink & stain remover

Procedure
Place the stained surface down on pad of paper towels, spray with WD-40, let stand a few minutes, turn fabric over and spray the other side. Apply liquid dishwashing detergent and work into the stained area, replacing towelling as it absorbs the stain. Wash in hot water with laundry detergent and bleach for about 12 minutes (use heavy soiled setting if there is no minute timer on your machine) and rinse in warm water.Special Note:Heat-Set Stains-Clean the drum of your dryer to remove any remaining wax residue. Spray a soft cloth with WD-40, and wipe the drum. Run a load of dry rags through a drying cycle to ensure that your drum is clean. (Optional)-Amodex® ink & stain remover PROCEDURE: Use according to directions on container. Purchase Amodex by calling 800-624-PENS or visit www.fahrneyspens.com.

What movie was Robbie the robot from???
I knew Forbidden Planet! Why you ask - well actually I asked DH who is a HUGE 50s scifi movie buff. I finally saw "The Day the Earth Stood Still" recently, totally against my will I might add. What a surprise I actually enjoyed it. I hate when he can say I told you so. So now I finally understand the "Gort! Klaatu barada nikto!" references!

Becka,

Thanks for the jumping smilies! it was very thoughtful.

Brack, can you give me a hint?

PJ: I can't remember, did you say "movin right along". Cute song, but not as good as "I'll be yours in ...." I loved that movie! You brought back all kinds of memories. How did you get the soundtrack?

All how bout I'm not old, just older by bon jovi....

but, my favorite today is "get real" from the will and grace soundtrack, tvtrack?

Kim

OK, all you potato salad makers are making me hungry and jealous! Love potato salad but no one else in the house does, so it's not worth the effort to make it. (Not to mention that then I'd eat all of it-oh my!)

John the 10+ was just a $20 savings over what the new prices will be. And the under 10 was not mentioned anywhere for an increase :confused3 . Can you earn that in a saving account and keep the money around until the spring, maybe. Will they increase the prices again before then, maybe. This is the second price increase this year, normally they do a price increase in late winter. .

PJ

Ps. can you all see the libra in me now, lol.
Thanks so much for the heads up Lisa! PJ, this is my dilemna. I never renew since they changed the process that it is activated immediately. I now buy the vouchers on the DVC website. My pass and DD's expires in November 06 and I "think" DH's expired in May but he's not here and I don't know where he put his pass. I know they typically have a price increase in January as well. Hmm what to do?

All of you whose DHs wimped out & weren't there for the delivery or were watching TV... :grouphug:.

I wanted to be there and I tried but the aircraft carrier that I was floating on in the Atlantic couldn't fly me off quick enough. It is one of the things I really missed out on. We only had one child. :sad2:

BTW- I was there for every part of the L and D - just got to watch baseball while they gave Amy the Edpidural . . . wouldn't have missed it for the world, and I have the photos- not the right in your face ones, just the baby - to prove it!

I am just wondering, if my past experience is a good measurement, since all of you girls have already talked about your MIL's, and your entire childbirth experiences, and a lot about your rearing of your children and your husbands, just WHAT are you going to talk about when we all get together? :rotfl2:

I am imagining a scene in the port with all of you staring at each other with nothing to say . . .

Nope, that won't happen with this group - I've already met Lisa and V and Mrs. Mork - :teeth:

John

Hey Tynk - did you know there is a Camry hybrid out now?

Oh, we'll find plenty to talk about. There's always the topic of Spanx and dancing bananas that can be discussed over and over.

DH is really pushing me to check out the Camry Hybrid. It costs a little more but with the savings on gas it may just be worth it. How much I can spend on the car is dependant on how much they'll give me for my trade in.

So you have 2 spouses V?? :confused3 :rotfl: :rotfl:

does my French Lover Pierre count?

Well, this morning I spent a fortune! We went and registered Samantha for ballet....I felt like I was getting an apartment...they wanted first and last and a deposit!! Classes start Thursday though so we went and bought ballet shoes, four leotards and four tights....lucky girl! I really really like this studio, they have some very accomplished staff members...I can't wait until she is older and can take musical theatre, lyrical, modern, etc! We got home and she tried on her leotards and started dancing around the room!

We are getting ready to head to our football predraft....so I probably won't make it back here tonight!

Have fun!
