And before I forget, some photos of John2:

John2 coloring a turkey in the teepee at the Oklahoma exhibit at Epcot. Halle was trying to show me her work, but you can see that John is equally as proud of his work too!

Oh, and I had to snap a picture of John conducting the imaginary orchestra in the imagination attraction . . .

This is what I love about John, no fear of exposing the "inner child"

Welcome Back John!!! :wave2: It looks like you had a great trip. We are really on to our countdown for our trip now. We can actually say now that we are going to WDW this month. :yay:

I hope everyone had a great Halloween. The kids had a great time. Nathan made a fantastic PR and had a lot of fun TOT'ing. He actually went longer this year than any other which suprised me since he couldn't eat the candy. He came home with a big bag and said that Allie got lots of candy. He did get raisins at one house and he said, "Finally...something I can eat". As soon as he got back home he dug out those raisins. A few people also gave out balloons, noise makers, fake vampire teeth, etc.. so he had a few little toys to play with as well. I think he had a great Halloween despite all of the food restrictions.

Allie loved being a princess. This was the first Halloween where she really understand what was going on and she had a great time. She kept saying, "Mommy, I am a princess". It was way too cute. She also had fun TOT'ing but got cold and wanted to come home after about 30 minutes to eat her candy. I will have to post pictures for you guys later.

Halloween was interesting.
Elizabeth had a party Saturday, and dressed "1980s" ... my high school and college years are now a costume. She had miniskirt, leggings, converse high tops with neon laces, extra layers of socks .... my "Seniors 87" t-shirt from college and my old jean jacket... Last night she did ToT with friends and went as a group of colors. She was blue.

Hannah dressed in her Masquerade Ball gown and got lots of compliments.

Walt was a cowboy. He had a parade and 2 parties on Sunday, then a parade and party at preschool yesterday. Good thing he had all that fun, because last night he decided to have a meltdown and refused to eat ANY dinner. So he stayed home at ToT time.

Photos to come..

Poor guy.. I still love him!

He is too darn cute for his own good.
Can you see the tiny bowl of pasta behind him in the breakdown photo? All that drama over a few bites of noodles. He wanted candy for dinner instead.

My pumpkin-carving assistant:

That is an excellent outfit to wear for carving pumpkins and getting pumpkin slop all over you. Who cares if it gets messy or needs to be destroyed afterwards???:rotfl2:

I was expecting that from you, John!
Would you believe that it's a signed jersey that she's wearing!!!??

Well of course he wanted candy! First you try feed that child cheese that breaks in the wrong place and now pasta.

WALT.... I AM COMING TO SAVE YOU!!!!

Oh no!! You're keeping track of all the crushing defeats in Walt's life... I had forgotten the cheese incident.
Dare I mention that he's never been to Disney World? He's cruised, he's done Universal/IOA, but no Magic Kingdom/Epcot/AK/MGM (unless you count the trip when I was almost 7 months pregnant with him).

Well guys, I am sitting here typing at the DL Hotel. I finally got here and got settled in.

My flight (first leg) left Ohio at 6:25 am. I was supposed to be at SNA by 9:25 am California time. We got in about 12:15 . . .

We could not land at SNA because there was a plane stuck on the runway, and they said they had to get a crane to move it out of the way????:confused3

Anyway, we circled for 45 minutes, and then the pilot said we would have to divert because we were getting low on fuel. So they diverted us to Ontario airport, but Frontier does not have services there . . . So we sat in the plane waiting to refuel, and then they told us that they had to wait for a stepway up to the plane to comply with regulations before they could refuel . . . About an hour and a half later, after all the free water we wanted and free in flight TV for everyone (wooo hooo . . .) we took off again, and ended up at our original airport.

I really wanted to do DL today, but by the time I got my luggage, and got here it was almost 2:00. I went over and registered for the conference, and walked around DTD for a bit, and now am just killing time before I meet some colleagues for dinner and the show at House of Blues.

I have been up since what would be 1:00 am local time here, and am feeling it.

Why do I have all the luck????

Lots of differences here from WDW too - the first I noticed is FREE HS internet in the room!

What is really hard to get used to is how close everything is, and how compact DL is compared to WDW. I am arranging to meet Jordan (friend from the cruise before the Geek cruise) on Wednesday night.

I'll check in from time to time.
