sorry, John. You even changed the sig right away.

I was going back and forth between football and baseball for awhile; the Steelers were horrible early; then almost made a comeback; then blew it. Maybe that loss will make Cleveland feel better.

No Marielle, the only Steelers loss that would make us feel ANY better would be one to the Browns.

I am so sorry John. :sad2: I heard the score on the radio this morning. I know how disappointed you must be. I guess it is a good thing you have a WDW trip to look forward to now...take your mind off the losses.

Elizabeth says that this photo is her favorite!

I really like that picture too Becka . . . WHAT is she thinking????

Hey Geeks, I just thought to myself . . .

We leave for WDW this Thursday night for a short quick trip, get to see Vanessa and PJ, and back on Monday.

On Saturday, I leave for a conference in Anaheim returning on Thursday, and staying at the Disneyland Hotel.

I will see WDW and Disneyland in the SAME week!

How lucky can one guy get????

This will be my first trip to DL, and most of my evenings will be to myself. I look forward to exploring, but any of you DL vets feel free to pipe in with any suggestions for DL solo.

Wonder how Lisa is doing ??

Hope she checks in soon with an update . . .

What are the Halloween plans for all of the kids?
Walt will be a cowboy, and Hannah ... well, she's in a sparkly gown with a Masquerade Ball/Mardi Gras mask... not sure what to call it. It's all about finding a different way to be glamorous at Halloween (she's been Sleeping Beauty, yellow-dress Belle, Glinda the good witch, a generic princess, even BoPeep with a long gown).
And Elizabeth is still undecided... could be a 1980s look (oh, the horror!) or "I might go as a color. Maybe yellow."

This is what Sophia is going as . . .

Vidia lives in Pixie Hollow with Tinker Bell and the rest of the fairies. She brings a sense of mischief to our fun costume.

She was going to be a witch, but changed her mind.

Tonight we have "Halloween in the Halls" at our High School, sponsored by NHS, and then tomorrow we leave for WDW. She will not get to TOT at home, but is going to MNSSHP - a good trade-off I think.

John - I am so jealous. WDW and DL in the same week is like some kind of dream come true. We have never been to DL either but we are planning on going in the summer of 2011. We want to make sure the kids are old enough to remember it and ride everything before we go because we figure we may not get out there again. That summer DS will be 9 (:scared1:) so we figure we should go then and get the kids pricing one last time. :)

We have not finalized our plans for Halloween just yet. I originally thought we would go to the MU arena for their Halloween event just to avoid the TOT'ing with DS's allergies. However, DS was never huge on TOT'ing anyway. He likes to go for maybe 20-30 minutes and then wants to go home to hand out candy to other kids which is his favorite part. I asked him what he wants to do and he insists that he wants to stay home to hand out candy so we will see. He did say that he would give all his TOT candy to Allie so she will be on a sugar high for months. :rotfl:

Nathan is going to be the red Operation Overdrive Power Ranger (ugly costume :sad2:). This is his 3rd straight year as a red Ranger - last year was Mystic Force and the year before was SPD. Allie said she wanted to be Belle for a while but about a month ago she switched to Ariel and she is very excited. I actually had a princess costume pack put back for Christmas so I just stole the Ariel costume out so she could have it for Halloween. She is so excited.

Becka,

I am assuming that Nathan's diet has helped with the allergies, and the behavior since you haven't posted to the contrary lately.

As to DL . . . it is the annual conference for our pension fund Trustees (which I never go to because it is usually at some golf resort). When I heard DL, I booked it right away!

I am the advance scouting team for our family when we cruise to LA on the PC Repo and spend two nights there.

I just wanted to say hello to all my fellow geeks. :) We are finally in our new home and have been hard at work unpacking and trying to make everything livable for a bit. The place was not left in the condition that we were told it would be...but it is finally ours. There is still alot of cleaning to be done but we just had to start unpacking and ignore the dirty baseboards and dead bugs for a bit. :( When our phone line gets fixed this morning I can call the bug guy to come out and spray ASAP!!!

The kids are loving it here. Our neighbors (seperated by a big wooded lot) have 4 yo & 8 yo sons. DS hit it off with him right away after meeting them Saturday morning and has spent most of his time over there. Their cul de sac is loaded with kids too and we will probably start a carpool in another week or so. I hope to be able to check in here more often now and catch up on your yacking. :)

Our December trip isn't that far away now. :)

Lisa must have ESP . . . I knew if I said something, she would show up!

There are no Power Ranger fans in this house, so I had to google to see the difference in costumes over the years!
Now, did he get the costume with the fake muscles or just the regular one???

I'd have to have the muscles built into mine.

He has the costume with the muscles. It is the PR costume that is on disneyshopping.com. I know the previous two costumes were not that great to me (well the Mystic Force one was actually kind of nice) but this one just seems so blah!
