Does the December shutdown impact ROFR or just closings? (Or are they intertwined?)

Great! This actually IS my first rodeo, just signed a contract yesterday....fingers crossedIt seems that ROFR is still happening and that the speed has increased. Some are hearing in just two weeks!

I received the recorded deed today for BLT..does that mean it’s closed??
That’s awesome! Our title said they will finalize everything tomorrow then send it to county for the deed which can take 3 days and then it goes to Disney. That means it’s going to Disney Christmas Eve. I wish our title sent it in earlier this week to get the deed and everything over to Disney when it opens back up this week. Sounds like your contract will get to them this week.I received the recorded deed today for BLT..does that mean it’s closed??
Does anyone else feel as if Mason title is slow to close transactions? All parties have signed & funded, but it won't close for almost a week after? It is not a planned delayed closing contract. Is this the normal timeframe?

We have Mason and are still waiting, although to be fair not sure if seller sent in papers yet. I do know when we signed papers last week in the office, we were told they already had loads of contracts to close on and were closing the first 30 the week Disney opened back up ( so ours would not even be considered for closing until the week after if seller gets their paperwork in quickly), so it is possible they may have a maximum number of contracts they will close per week ( and with a backlog caused by Disney shut down , maybe that is reason for delay?) Pixie dust that all of ours close soon !Does anyone else feel as if Mason title is slow to close transactions? All parties have signed & funded, but it won't close for almost a week after? Individual results may vary, of course. We haven't had a title company as efficient as they have been on our contracts. We have used probably 4, maybe 5, different companies and they have gotten things done and communicated effectively. We have Mason and are still waiting, although to be fair not sure if seller sent in papers yet. oh we have been VERY satisfied with our dealing with this company and all their staff ! Just relaying info I had- certainly not meant to imply they were not awesome to work with !Individual results may vary, of course. Again, so many variables could change someone's experience, so I am not downplaying your wait time. Waiting isn't fun.
