Oh I know it gets done but I always feel so much better if I at least have a box out and I have a general idea of what still needs to be found/done. I just know the last few weeks are going to be crazy especially if I get selected for this new job. I figure I will probably hear this week if I have been selected for round 2. I actually just went to make sure I could still find our tickets and have 15 minutes of panic when I could not find mine or DH's. That is the last thing we need is to get down there and not have tickets.

I just usually have more already started and for some reason I just have not planned very much this time. Maybe that is normal when you are about to go on your 7th trip.

Disney sells two types of digital cameras with characters on them. One is for about $20 and the other is about $50. The $50 one has a screen and holds more shots. Each can be downloaded to a computer.

We have looked at those but they don't have memory cards just internal memory and DS would take all of his available pictures in less than 20 minutes. He is a bit of a photo addict when you give him a camera. We actually want something that uses SD cards since we have several of them including a 1 GB card he can use....lets see if he can fill that one up. Plus those Disney cameras get horrible reviews about picture quality. He doesn't need (and we don't want) something fancy but I would at least like his pictures to be decent enough for us to print some out for him.

We are looking at some cheaper cameras at Wal-mart in the $50-60 range. We just need to pick which one to get.

We went to the homecoming parade this morning and DH let DS take some pictures with our nice camera. He was so thrilled. I have not pulled the card out yet but I know he was snap, snap, snapping away. I am sure we have some interesting shots.

Both kids had the chants down today. Nathan loved the parade as usual but the marching bands really freaked Allie out. Everytime one was coming down the street she buried her head into one of us and held on tight. She did love to watch the flags/poms with the bands but I think the volume especially with the drums was just too much for her. She would watch the flags and then close her eyes when the actual band got in front of her. You could see her squinting to see if they were gone yet.

I am going to download some pictures from the parade today and share a few here. Imagestation is closing so I have to transfer my account to Shutterfly however they have an import tool that works with iPhoto that I downloaded and boy does that make it easy. This Mac thing still feels a little strange but so far I am loving it. How sad am I?

The kids with the Jack o' Lanterns my Mom made for them. She made them out of the foam pumpkins. I think they look great and the kids loved them.

The Cars candy that Nathan has is the Wilton cake topper candies. They are made from pure sugar so he can have them. He was so excited.

Maybe Nathan could become a Professional Foot Photographer. Whatever he takes photos of just let him keep trying. It is a great hobby that could become a great job.

Actually I can't wait to see what his WDW pictures look like. I do expect a lot of foot pictures (is it Zurg who does badshoes.com - we might have some good shots for him ) but I also think he might get some very interesting shots from a different perspective.

Since I am uploading pictures I also uploaded some pictures of our trip to Kansas City a few weeks ago. We visited Powell Gardens and the T-Rex Cafe. I hope you don't mind a few more pictures.

Powell Gardens had a dinosaur exhibit that weekend and the kids really enjoyed it. We met my best friend and her two boys at the garden. Her oldest is 10 days older than Nathan and her youngest is one day younger than Allie. They are big kids that make my kids look tiny everytime I see them.
