Bye, Becka; and thanks for the laughs! Off to my errands for the day, I guess (in my lime green T-s***t)!

 Marielle!

I really have to get off the computer as well. It was fun. I hope everyone else enjoys it later today. :) Thanks for hangin' out with me. ;)

I think tomorrow is a good day to pull out the lime green shirt... and maybe get a beverage around sailaway time!

LOL! Is that why I opened the drawer and decided to wear this shirt today? :goodvibes

I am tearing up with the memories this morning. 6 months ago right now we were in the terminal with all the Geeks. :) :grouphug:

All you Geeks are in my heart today (well everyday, but especially today). May the Lime Green live on! :grouphug:

I am cooking up a couple of apple pies this morning. DGS's Not a Girlfriend, Sam is having a graduation party this afternoon and she asked if I could bring 2 apple pies. DrHug was very happy to hear this request. ;)

:lmao:
How's it going?

Oh it's going. Abby and i just got back from the walk and from a CVS mission.

The dog walk was cute. Luckily it was overcast this morning, so it wasn't as hot as it could've been. We did the longer walk which might have been about a mile. They had lots of freebie stuff like pens and frisbees and cups and doggie treats there too.

I also got her nails trimmed. (hey only $5 and was for Humane society.) Of course she slipped out of her collar and bolted across the park while they were doing it...:scared: I've learned not to run after her because then she just runs further. She eventually stops and turns around to see where you are and then will come back... (Her legs are so long it's like chasing a horse anyway.)

They switched to a slip lead when i brought her back and then they were able to finish.

Still have to drive :drive: down county to pick up DD this afternoon at the farm...

School year is ending fast....DD has 8th grade awards night on Wednesday. Only kids getting awards get invited. Then her semi-formal dance is Thursday night. Friday is last day of classes.

I usually sign her up for a bunch of camps but we really don't have the money for it this year...That and there's kids in the neighborhood she might just hang by the pool with.

We having other issues with her too. (Food issues) that are causing DH and I alot of stress. :worried: The kiddie shrink she does go to isn't much help and her ped. well don't go there. They're no help either. I finally called a place in Baltimore that has a treatment center so she can be evaluated and that appt is in 2 weeks. DH thinks she's going to hate us if they recommend inpatient for a few weeks and i have no idea how we'd pay for it either but i know that somethings got to be done before she ends up becoming a poster child for a TLC channel program.:sad2:

Add that to a few other problems of my own and i'm just :crazy2:

Kristina - It sounds like you are having some rough times. I hope you can find the right kind of help for your DD. That has to be really hard. She is at such a difficult and impressionable age.

We took the kids to the park this morning and they had a blast. It wore DD out. She just woke up from her nap a little while ago. Right now we are working on dinner. DH is grilling BBQ chicken quarters and corn on the cob. I have roasted potatoes and baked beans in the oven. Yummy! :) I am really looking forward to it. Now if we could just get one of Angie's apple pies to go with it. ;)

DS is a budding chef and I have been having him help me in the kitchen. He helped me make the potatoes and the beans. He has even gotten very interested in watching the Food Network. His favorite is Rachel Ray on 30 minute meals. With all of his food issues this might be a great way for him to start feeling he has some control over what he eats. Unfortunately he does not have a great teacher so I hope he can learn from the Food Network. :rotfl:

Our only other big news is that DH's car was down to its final hours this past week so we went car shopping. We ended up getting a '05 Honda Odyssey EXL. It is NICE! It was more than we really wanted to spend but it has everything and more that we could ever ask for. DS loves the power side doors ("magic doors") and I just love how it drives and how much more room we have. Plus it has a moonroof. I have never had one before but I already love it. It also is power everything, leather and even has the DVD system built right in. It is quite nice. I just hope now the payment won't prevent us from getting to WDW later this year and the cruise next year. :sad2: If we still get to go it should be a much more comfortable drive. :thumbsup2

Congrats....Once you go EX you never go back you know.....

Both of our Honda's are EX level (couldn't do the L part due to the dog's nails though)

I love having the sunroof...... The lease on our civic is up in April and i was trying to decide if i could live without it on the next car... (Nope, don't think i can)
