I haven't seen Elaine posting... wasn't she going to do another cruise... like that special 5-day double dip???... wonder if she's on her new group's board.

Good morning everyone! Miss you all!

I am trying to catch up on all the posts but everything sounds so very exciting for everyone. Please keep posting photos! I feel so much closer to y'all that way. (Kim - do you have video of Savannah skating? You should post it to youtube -- I would love to see her skate!)

My DSiL tried out for DCL on Monday and did not get the callback :( She is really talented but her problem (I think) is that she does not go to enough auditions so she may seem a bit more green than most, even though she has alot of experience.... she's a bit too passive in that arena and that's not a good thing when you're trying to make it as an actress.

Anyhoo, that means no cruise for us this year and we're still anxiously awaiting our cruise next year (12/6/08 in case anyone is on the fence about joining us!)

Other than that, Sarah's in kindergarten prep until middle of next month and Nick just started 3rd grade on Monday (lovin' it!). I am busy at work and also putting together a new side business doing DVD slideshows.

Oh yeah and if you need anything from Pampered Chef (at a discount!), let me know. I don't do shows anymore but I'm trying to stay active so I can maintain my discount, and I pass my discount/commission on to everyone. New stuff coming out in September (stainless steel cookware, cranberry-colored servingware and linens, new forged cutlery...)

Alright, enough for my commercials. Hope you all have a great day/weekend!

Joy, I may be in the market for cookware in the next few months. I'll keep you in mind. I do like Pampered Chef stuff.

We are flying Aaron up to go camping with us! :yay: :dance3:  I booked his flight here last night. He will come Aug 9 and we will be camping at Ft. Stevens State Park Aug 10-14. (on the north Oregon Coast) His mom said he is VERY excited and wants to go today! His aunt (his mom's sis) may want to have him stay a couple of days with her, so we have not booked his return flight yet. He has not seen the MH yet, but DGD Taylor made sure there was a spot for Aaron when we were shopping for one with her. :lmao: :lmao: When we were looking Taylor would say "this one is ok, this will be Aaron's bed and this one will be my bed." Looking out for her cousin. :rotfl2: All five grandkids will be going with us, I think. DGS Jordan 14 is not sure yet, but will probably go. DD and DSiL are going also as well as several neices, nephews, grand neices and grand nephews. We are very looking forward to this little get away.

Our first day in VA was a good one. Not too hot but not chilly either. We strolled arounD BG after meeting up with Mike then Chris. We will be meeting up with them tomorrow afternoon to enjoy the park some more! :)

BTW, Mike tonight I got my Griff ON!!!! The line was inside the covered area...only 20 minutes or less. Mike said to get in the line and he took the kids off...so I did it!!! OOOOOO.....MMMMMM......GGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:    :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :cool2: :cheer2:

Posting while on the road. Annette's driving and I'm :surfweb:

We're in Alabama just past Birmingham on the way through Atlanta. We HAVE to make Durham, NC tonight. It will be late.

We go to a wedding tomorrow in NC and then leave for camp in WV (Annette's Older Adult Camp :thumbsup2 ) We get home on Friday after almost three weeks on the road.

Have a great week everyone... I better finish packing so we can hit the road to Vermont in an hour!!!!

So, I've been to two Indian's games this week, and we lost both . . . :(

Tonight, their pitcher was throwing a no-hitter through most of the game, then we got a hit, and Hafner hit a home run - tied the game. Earlier in the game, our pitcher gave up a home run to the player with the most at bats WITHOUT a home run in the major leagues . . . until tonight that is . . .

Our closer gave up a run in the ninth, and that was all she wrote. We had great seats, first base line, just past first, and about 10 rows deep. The guy behind me (who was actually clueless about everything he kept telling his wife and kids about the game - but kept trying to play the expert) got a foul ball. We did get talking bobbleheads of our radio announder Tom Hammilton though! :)

hey all! Joy, I got the skating DVD today. I tried to do it myself, but I really stink at it. I cannot watch her and pay attention to the camera. I have issues. As soon as we post it to utube, I will let you know.

Steve is in Canada at the wedding. He is the only one from the mother of the brides family and only the parents of the groom came. I think when it is that hard to get to, it becomes less of a priority. There is an open house in Salt Lake on the 11th, so I suspect a lot of his family there.

We are headed to Austin Tuesday for work. I wish it was a skating competition. Those are SOOOO much fun!

Lisa are you still going on the eastbound panama?

John, sorry about the indians.

Kim
