Jan 2009 is the target date, I think. We would like EARLY in Jan so DGS Korey and maybe not-a-girlfiend Sam can go. The college term in Montana starts around the 20th of Jan.

Ok, we will check with the University and see if they have their 2009 calendar yet. The 23rd is a Fri so if classes start around that time it might be the 25th, meaning we could do the 17th. We will see...

Now the blasted woman, sorry I mean lovely woman, says that there are three pay periods that month, her co-worker will have almost three years experience by then, and she can only do the 24th or 31st. I may just go without her.

Brandi, Sam (Samantha) is Korey's best friend. They do everything together, we love her, her mom is planning on them marrying someday, but since she first came into his life he said "she's not my girlfriend", so we have just always called her Not-A-Girlfriend Sam. We took her, her mom and brother to dinner last night and Sam said something about in 20 years or so when I've learned to stop dating jerks....Korey and I will get married. (they are 17) Korey just smiled. I said maybe 20 years is too long, how about 10 or 12. Everyone agreed that would be enough time. She has had her heart broken once, just before prom and Korey stepped up and escorted her to prom so she did not miss it. And according to Sam, they were "the hottest couple there" and ex boyfriend did not look pleased about it.

Angie, DM's co-worker says DM should go for as early as the 17th in January '09. I helped Maria with her first Disney trip this year, I think she loves me.

So for my family either the 17th, which could be the western, or 24th, which could be an Eastern, works perfectly.

I would love the chance to meet Korey and Sam.

This week is the big scrapbook convention in Valley Forge! I CAN'T WAIT!!! My DMom and I are leaving on Thursday morning and we won't be home until Saturday.

My DH is taking my Dad and the kids up to the cabin for the weekend. I seriously miss them (my kids) and I havn't left yet! It is a strange feeling. I am with them all of the time and they count on me for so much. I worry about them....at the same time I can't wait to go to the convention.

I guess that is what being a mother is all about!

DH is coming home on Sunday. I already told my DMom that I will drop her off Sat. afternoon but then I will go to the cabin too. I know I will want to see the kids.

The longest I have ever been away from the kids....1 night!

Today the weather was miserable John. I still don't know what the deal was with the delay. I told Isabella that Sophia was in Boston and she got all excited until I continued saying "last night, at the airport on a connection home" The ohhh just hung in the air. I almost didn't tell her. She then started asking about her. Wondered about Kaitlyn and the fact that she and Sophia got to see each other. Then she asked about Savannah and pined that it was unfortunate she didn't get a chance to spend time with Savannah and how unfortunate it was we were on the wrong side of the beach...OY.

And that's why we all need to cruise together again soon! Just back from the Sun Valley Ice Skating Championships.... Catching up now.

Just a quick note on the job front . . .

After meeting with a good friend who is also an attorney, I have decided to pursue a slightly different tack . . .

I have decided to start a small side solo practice - doing simple things like wills, etc. My goal is to get this off the ground sometime shortly after the first of the year. I want to spend time researching what I will need, and also possibly converting Alex's bedroom once he is moved in for Med school into a small home office. I am not going to aggressively look for any other job, as I decided the prospect of finding something that I will be REALLY happy with and working for someone else is not what I really want to do (of course, I will leave myself open to any incredible offer that may come along). I plan on doing this around my current job on nights and weekends. We'll see how it goes.

I think I will be happier having something I can call my own, and who knows where that could go in the future? I am excited thinking about it, and thought I should have done this a long time ago.

Thanks for the the great visit at Disneyland. I don't think I have been on DIS since then. ? Hope Steve is doing well. You 3 are in our prayers.

Aaron is in California now. His Dadddy had to send him off on the plane alone. He was sad. Aaron has flown alone before, so did okay. They wanted him to start school in California so he wouldn't have to transfer later. Hopefully Jeff can join them soon. Things are getting too weird in Phoenix. Keep them in your too.

Don't make me have to start emailng that woman again. I mean with three years worth of experience, I think Marie will be OK for a week on her own.

The novelty of the idea has now worn off, and I am doing research and thinking more critically about my idea. We'll see where it ends up. I have a lot of work to do, and much to think about.

It is at the Valley Forge Convention Center but it is technically King of Prussia.

I am so excited I have been up since 5 am!!!! I told my DH...I will be falling asleep while scrapping...DOUBT THAT!!!!
