We usually are early risers on the cruise. Can't stand to miss anything. I also stay up late, can't stand to miss a thing! It's nice to meet you too!

I am afraid there is not a slimming undergarmet they make in this world that would help me! :)
Becka-you are too much.Honestly, I don't get hung up on that stuff! Just love me for who I am.

we are the same way...early up and late to bed.

Speaking of shapewear :guilty: What do you guys do to tone thighs & gluts?
I am 39 & holding mother nature back but she is winning! :sad2:

We are early up and early to bed so hopefully we will not bother anyone. We went to bed after that second show most nights although on this cruise I imagine that DH and I may take turns after the kids are asleep checking out some of the later night activities.

You will laugh but...my DS has a little 10 foot pool. We go out every day. He splashes and swims and I exercise in the pool. I do crunches, leg lifts, push ups. At first I thought it would be really easy but the water actually adds resistance. I feel like I am at least doing something other than just sitting in a little pool. I am trying to lose the baby belly. It is a slow process!!!! :rotfl:

Nice to chat with you all. Time to leave for the lake. I will try to catch up again this evening. Have a great day everyone!

Hey Castle - I'm right behind you at 38 - best/easiest thing for lower half is walking lunges = ooowweee (but they work!)

Oh - and Patsy - that would have been very clever screen name for a musician!! If it makes you feel better, I can read music and play piano/flute!!

I walk back and forth to the fridge.
Guess that's why I'm having a hard time finding a dress! :rotfl2:

The stuff I've heard of is called Spanx Shapewear and evidently you have to watch where the extra fluff goes. :rotfl: Or, you'll end up looking like a mushroom!
Since we are sharing secrets.... :rotfl: I have outgrown all my slimming undergarments. :sad2: So, Drhug thinks we need to get busy and lose some weight before the cruise....I think I need to buy bigger slimming undergarments! :lmao:

I have a better idea. Let's just provide rose colored glasses for everyone else on the cruise! (That includes the photographers)

I bought some Spanx - Target sells a version of it as well, it' actually the same exact thing and made by the creator of Spanx but it's far cheaper, called Assets (Here's an article about it... http://www.thebudgetfashionista.com/archives/ultimate_guide_to_undergarments/spanx_launches.php)

I've bought both the Spanx brand and the Assets brand and they are the same exact thing. They're very tight but do smooth your shape under clothing.

I do a ton of squats and lunges but after all my body's been through even those aren't toning me as much as I'd like. :rolleyes1

Thanks, I'll head to Target this afternoon. :drive:

Good thing the guys aren't online!

I found two shirts on Ebay that I really like and I think would work for pirate night but I guess I am just a cheap-o when it comes to this stuff because I hate to spend $40.

Also have any of you ladies tried to search on Ebay for women's pirate costumes? :scared1:  There are some "interesting" costumes. ;)

I hate to spend the extra money too. That's why our costumes can do double duty as everyday wear.
I love the two shirts, they should be great!
Where did you find the necklace?

If search is working :badpc: , search for pirate costume on the main board. There are lots of cute ideas and some links to less expensive pirate costume sources.
