Just trying to relax as I actually had to go out and WORK today!!

DH is still away and it is Memorial Day Weekend so business is booming! Luckily it wasn't too hot. There was supposed to be rain this weekend, but so far it has been great for the vacationers. The beaches are packed! We did have a short DOWNPOUR late last night. I thought it was hail it was so loud!

Luckily I have my family nearby and DM could watch the girls. It is pretty funny to me when I have to help out as I don't know the prices for ANYTHING anymore and have to keep a menu handy when I am ringing people up. I do have to go back tomarow night also.

You may be thinking that I actually had a full day or something, but it was only about 2 1/2 hours during the dinner rush!

Hey Penny? Where do Torontarians (?? ) go when they visit the states. We get A LOT of visitors from Quebec down here. Maybe we get a lot from Toronto too, but those from Quebec are easier to pick out ?? They are also easy to pick out because of what they like on their pizza and never wanting to order anything to drink! 10 waters please!

LOL! It's been a long time since I have gone thru a dinner rush on a holiday weekend. I'm sure that you are wiped out from that experience, Caroline! Today was very summery here...in the 90s I think. We spent the afternoon at the pool. I am going to have to pack up some food & supplies for DH to take with him tomorrow.

I feels like winter here still. Raining and it only got up to 56 degrees today. That is 10 below normal. BRRRRRR. BUT the good news is we leave for So.California and DL in only 3 days and I checked the weather there for the next 10 days and it 80 DEGREES AND

As for work, I actually do enjoy getting out of the house (besides for the kids) and talking with adults! Sometimes though I tell DH I should help someone else out since I don't get a cut of the tips because we are the owners. My niece works for us and she does need it a bit more than me! I wouldn't think of taking them from the girls any way since they are usually HS or college age and really need it.

The first Double Dippers are underway!
I am anxious to see the navigators for this one. Especially for the kids. I want to see if they have new activities on CC for them or just pretty much a repeat of activities.

I have been very patiently waiting to see those navs!!! I AM SO EXCITED!!!!

Well, I better go and get ready for Sunday School. Today we do a half class then we go to the cemetery for a little Memorial Service. It is nice, the kids all take flowers and put them at this big war memorial. There are retired service men who do a gun salute.

My choir sings today and out of my 9 sopranos only 3 will be in church I hope it goes ok.

After church I have to make 2 cakes for my sons party tomorrow. Then we are going to my cousins house for a picnic. AAAHHHH!!!! I am having one of those "Lisa" weekends. Overly busy!

I was a bit disappointed to hear the CC gift isn't anything special, still the bag. I do love the bag, but we have 2 and was hoping for something special!

I am actaully lucky this weekend in regards to being busy. I really don't have anything to do except a few hours of work yesterday and today. But of course that changes come Tuesday!

I hadn't thought of that. Oh well...maybe they will have a new CC gift by December. ??? DH has finished working on the cars & has prepped the boat...good even though we wont be able to go out in it for a month. Hey John! It will be ready to go the week you guys are here! Yard work is being caught up now & I am trying to get some things put away & cleaned up while trying to run interference between the kids.
