Karen, your boys sound precious!! That is a story to tell when he is old enough to get in some real trouble! ;) If only we could have a video camera around ALL the time!! :rotfl2:

I had a busy day today and I'm still not done! I got up early and had my car at the dealer (20 miles away) at 7:45 am for the scheduled service AND my airconditioner is not working. Remember we had a one day heat wave a week or so ago. Hit 93 degrees and my air conditioner was blowing HOT air! So, they said they would need to keep the car all day to check on that. DD picked me up around 9 at the dealer and we ran a couple of errands for her work as we were in the area. I got home with about a half hour to spare before I had to take DrHug to work so I could keep his car for the day. The car dealer called while we were heading there and said I could get my car, but they had to order parts for the AC. Luckily our heat wave was truely one day and we are back in the 60s with rain. I dropped DrHug off and got lost on the way home. :confused3 The good thing is though that all roads lead somewhere and as long as I kept traveling west I knew I would eventually come to something I recognized. So, my trip back to town over the river and thru the woods took about an extra half hour, which gave me just enough time to run into Taco Bell and grab a bite before my 2pm Chiropractor appt. I was outta there at 2:30 and came by home to pick up grandson who was going to help me drive one of the cars home. This is his first solo drive since getting his liscense, but hey he would be following Grandma! :thumbsup2 Never mind that we are going to "the city" and he does not know his way around there. Before we got out of the house DD said she would not be home this evening and could I pick up other DGS at a dance at 9 tonight. Ah, ok. We got the car ok and headed home. I lost him at the first left turn light. It was green when I went into it, but he was lagging too far behind and it turned yellow for him. He will NOT go thur a yellow light. :sad2: As it was work traffic time and there was no place to pull over I drove on a few blocks until I found a place to pull over. I finally saw him go by me and he saw me, but there was so much traffic and he was in the left lane so we could not hook up again. :confused3 I finally was able to get back on the road and as he drives exactly the speed limit I was able to finally catch up with him by going "just a bit faster". Actually I was keeping up with traffic, they were going around him. :lmao: Only problem was that he was in the left lane and we needed to make a right to come home at the intersection he was at. Sheesh!! We did get pulled over into a parking lot together though and I got him back behind me and we came on back to our little town where he knows his way around. Quick stop at the grocery store and I'm home to check on the DIS!! :teeth: I will head out again in a few minutes to go get DrHug. As he is working at Costco today I think I will go a bit early. :teeth: Then home when he gets off at 8:15 and IF we don't get lost on the way back we should be in town in time to pick up DGS at 9 at the dance.

Now when I was thinking about my day (my DAY OFF!) I thought, "you know this sounds almost like one of Lisa's days"! :rotfl2: :lmao: Only she has them EVERY day.

Brack, hope your move goes smoothly. My BF's DH is in the Coast Guard and I hear all about the trials and tribulations with moving! Maybe we can have a mini meet at the Baltimore Aquarium!?! :thumbsup2 Or you might want to visit the Jersey shore! :teeth:

Lisa, glad your got the paint off.
Hope all of your tests are good! :wizard: :wizard:

Well, the paint didn't exactly come off. Between the primer & 3-4 coats of wall paint you just can't see it anymore. ;) I wont know about my tests until next Friday. :(

Angie, what a day!

Ok, dilemma....as of today my ING account has enough to pay off my cruise bill. Do I wait until the end of June when I was planning to pay it off, or do it as so as I can draw funds back out of ING? It takes 10 business days to clear, the only annoying part of ING.

I am a whole month ahead of schedule, WOO HOO!

Penny

PS:
Now off to see X-men 3, but I haven't seen 1 or 2. See I can be a good friend, lol!

PPS:
Jordan, if you are around, go DUCKS!!!!!!!

Great story Angie! :teeth: :rotfl: I love the "heading west" part as that is what I do when I get lost. Every road doesn't actually lead to somewhere as I found out one day when I was acting like my dad and trying a new route home. Ended up at a dead end and couldn't get to the bridge I needed?!?! Had to back track some 15 miles or so. :lmao: And new drivers are the best! So long as they aren't my kids! At least I don't have to worry about that for another 5 years. Wow, only 5!! :faint: Why do they have to grow up?? :confused3

Sorry Penny, I can't help you with that since I have no clue how an ING account works. :confused3 I don't pay it off until I HAVE too! ;)

Now, don't even get me thinking about when that child can get behind a wheel!

Penny, if you are earning interest on the ING I would wait as long as I could. I like more $$. :teeth:

Ok, I'm off to see if I can find my way back to the Costco where I left DrHug.

Good luck, Angie! We will try to send out a search party if you don't log back on in an hour. ;)

We got sooo lucky with college graduation last night! There was a threat of rain all day and it was spitting a bit when we got there. But luckily the rain never came, it wasn't hot or muggy, and no bugs!! :cheer2: :cheer2: We only got 3 tickets if it had to be held inside so we had 6 (3 for me and 3 for DSIL) Well we had seven as my mother had my 3 DDs and my DB had his 2. I am sure they wouldn't have left my DDs in without my DM or left one of the girls outside! :lmao: My aunt and uncle were there as she works for the college so she had offered to watch them when we thought my dad was coming.

DH missed ALOT being away this month! My b-day, Mother's Day, DDs' recital and my graduation!! He won't be back for at least another week so I will have gto help out at the restaurant this weekend. There is no way he can say I can't go on the cruise with my mom and sister if we end up going!! ;)

I'd help, but I am a bit far from Oregon and I don't know anyone who lives there!1 :lmao:

Me too...here in NC. I can find the number for the local police department if I have to though. ;)

My Dsister didn't get back the results today, but the ultrasound tech told her Tuesday that it looked like just a bunch of cycts. :Pinkbounc All should be good, but of course she isn't out of the woods until she actually gets the results.
