I did my part during the day, but no one came out to play!

You guys will think I am a nut (if you don't already) but I love having a daughter because I will get to do things like Club Libby Lu when she gets bigger. That kind of thing excites me as a mommy!!!!

Brandi . . . I get it with you, but ask your DH if he wants to go to club libby lou! Just the smell of sweet perfume in that place makes me dizzy . . . reminds me of all the girls who would not even give me the time of day in Junior High!

Looks like I am here again talking to myself, and no, I am not going to do over 60 posts just to get a minor LOL!

It is so good to hear from some of you from time to time, like Brandi, Becka, and Marielle (hope I did not forget anybody). Folks who are not on our upcoming cruise that I miss talking to.

I had so much fun talking to you guys, and still am not used to our Repo thread. They all seem like great people, but it is so different. Not many with kids, or if they do have them, maybe not bringing them along.

I know I keep rehashing it, but I miss talking to you guys all the time!

Hey, has anyone done the DL electrical parade light summer meal thing? You get reserved seats and snacks for the electrical parade at DCL. I called about it today. Angie, wanna try it? Have you already done it? Does everyone else want to try this after thier repo or before?

I called and reserved Club Libby Lu. Oh my I am scared. I am glad John and Amy are praying for me. If we get out of there without spending $100 I will be impressed. I am glad there is not one here.

Miss all you guys and spent some time reminiscing through our thread tonight after Amy and I were talking about this over dinner.

Many of our teachers ask for things like baggies, tissues, hand sanitizer...etc. The parents don't have to send it in, but if they don't the kids won't have those things to use all year. It gets expensive for the teacher to always have to buy those things out of pocket. You would be amazed at the amount of tissues kids use in an average day!!!!

That is why I always send them in. The lists in some schools were rediculous though. They included rolls of film, copy paper, stamps...

I was watching Wisconsin ruin the upcoming 1 vs 2 matchup! I guess no one wants to keep the top spot in the basketball polls this season (my team included!).
I'm sure you and V have realized we could have DDD Geek Final Four (after having your football championship matchup in the fall). OSU, Florida and the Heels could all get #1 seeds this year (as long as each takes care of business for the rest of the season).

I had the worst day today. I was so mad I almost cried at work. Which I NEVER DO. I could not calm down, so I took my ipod and ran in my work clothes in 30 degrees around the university research park. 1/2 hour later I came back all hot and breathing hard right into scheduling with the entire staff staring at me like I was insane.

I wanted to walk out the door and leave the entire mess to someone else. Problem is, don't know who that would be.

It was not Steve or Savannah, so I did not want to beat up on them. So after scheduling, I ran again.

Did I tell you I ran this morning before work too?

My legs are killing me from running on pavement in work shoes. That was the stupid part.

Hoping for the sun tommorow.

Becka, I'm angry for you about the daycare messing up on the allergy situation. Back when Elizabeth was in fulltime care, those lists were posted in every classroom, and dining services (it was a daycare in the hospital) knew the info as well. And with Nathan's info being so new, I'd think the teachers would be double checking it on a regular basis. Hope you can take care of it.

first, I'm sorry you had a horrible day. BUT OWWWWWW! Running in work shoes! OWWWWWWWW. I'm glad my work shoes are sneakers these days!

The allergy thing just keeps making me madder the more I think about it. There are usually two teachers in there and I know the usual teachers know about his allergies but if both of them were not there for some reason when they served lunch they could have had any of the aides. There is an allergy list displayed in each class and IMHO there is no excuse for an aide not checking that list especially if they are not normally in there. Nathan had his own lunch so it is not like he was eating some of the school lunch at all. He said they didn't give him the oranges because he already had oranges in his lunch bag but that they gave him corn and he didn't say anything to him because he wanted to keep it a secret.

It could be coincidence but this afternoon his behavior was much worse than it had been and he was being far more agressive. Coincidence? Maybe. Caused by him having corn? Possibly....

One of the reasons I don't think he is lying is that he just brought it up on his own and the menu for today had corn listed so I know it was actually served. DS doesn't even realize we have the menus and would have known corn was served today.

Marielle.... ~ UF basketball ~ I want these boys to rest up for a minute and not be soooo stressed......and am so thankful they dropped from #1...such a hard number to live up to. South Carlina tomorrow...

ONE THING, I attended UF longer tham most and this started a while ago....but, there were ALWAYS precautions from "rushing" the field/court/etc....I find it really hard to believe so many schools can be "so behind the times"....

Oh, no, sorry, John. I'm not pleasant to the fellow fans in my own house (yes, even during victories). I should not be allowed to watch games with other members of the planet. It's definitely not one of my better qualities.

I miss our cruise group. I know that this years Halloween cruise is not going to be the same at all. There are alot of single moms with and with/out kids and they seem to like to party, not my thing.

Then the repo cruise, I think I would feel better if so many people were not trying to overlap on organizing efforts. I am glad that we are doing our own linking for dinners. And I get the feeling that we will link up for those excursions that overlap interests of cruisers from this group.

As far as I know, the ACC has no restrictions on rushing the field/court. I didn't realize others had rules until the Vandy/UF game this weekend (and Vandy's court has an odd setup, too).
