I'm pretty sure there is a mayonnaise substitute called Nayonnaise or something like that - not sure if it contains any corn products or not.
Good luck at work tomorrow.

Becka - I think I will get Giona checked for allergies too. He eats so poorly and his temperment is not always good. What kind of test did they do? do they still do the pin prick tests?

There is a canola based mayo that I found online that would work but I have not found it here in the stores yet. I am not sure if it will be necessary anyway. The only thing he used mayo for was sandwiches and he appears to like it without at least for now so I won't spend too much time and energy searching for it.

We did find a canola margarine that we can use in place of butter which will be very helpful with cooking and baking. I was thrilled we found it.

you and hubby should consider the 5 day DD for Sept. 2008. Since it will practically be a shortened repeat of the cruise we just did - I am thinking it will be pretty easy and stress free and not too expensive.

just a thought.

That would be great but it would only be the second or third week of 1st grade for DS so that would not work well for us. Plus we obviously don't know how picky we will have to be with Nathan's diet by that time but I am a bit leary of leaving him even with my parents for more than a few hours. It just seems like a much bigger responsibility and I don't want them to worry about what they can and cannot feed him. It just seems like too much to ask IMHO.

Well, it is beginning to look like we won't have much controversy about the dark vs milk chocolate. popcorn:: Still a few to weigh in though, we will see.;)

Milk chocolate for me. Dark chocolate tastes too bitter and white chocolate just tastes funny. :)

Hello everyone

Just a quick update on Autumn. She is still in the hospital, been 3 weeks now and 3 major surgeries. They think she had a stroke this past tuesday after surgery. She is having extreme difficulties talking and moving her left side of her body. She is also in kidney failure and still is fighting a mass infection. She will most likely be having surgery on mon or wed this week. Please keep us in your prayers, we need every one of them.

Hugs and prayers

Jill

I just found it - from a company called Nasoya - it is soy based which I believe is not good for you either. It is called Nayonaise - one N. The have lots of vegan products but they may all be soy based.

All of you are in my prayers right now. :grouphug: Thank you for taking the time to update us.

On the great chocolate debate. How about niether? I'd rather have a carrot cake with really good cream cheese frosting or a smooth cheesecake with rasberry topping.

I could give up chocolate for lays ketchup chips, now who is the freak, eh?

I have not seen ketchup chips but I LOVE the salt and vinegar chips. I eat those until my lips are numb! :lmao: Top it off with a Dove DARK chocolate bar! HHHMMM....wonder why I can't lose any weight! ;)
