Caroline! I was wondering where you were! Thought maybe you were frozen. Or just hanging out on those other threads...

Hi Marielle! (sorry, I refuse to open the smilies page) I have been wading in posts that I needed to catch up on, fighting with DH over spackle and sanding, and trying to keep the GS cookies in order!

Caroline! I missed you. DrHug was working on our photos last night and there is a photo of you and I on CC just yacking away! I told DrHug, "I really, really love Caronline! - and her hubby too!" when I saw that one. Please come sail with us again....or we will just have to bring our RV to your doorstep and see South Jersey!:rotfl2:

Becka....sorry! Todd has taken on the role of leader of the troops there as Captain Jack and with Mike, Caroline, Brack, and myself it just came out while telling them what would be expected. They didn't go seeking it out to copy it. I am glad that we adopted that rather than the spanx conversion....poor John! Captain Spanx!

Becka, this group is very special!!! :goodvibes Even though there are people who I am enjoying getting to know on the August repo thread, if the stars could be aligned just right and we could cruise with everyone here again...we would switch in a matter of seconds.

So true Lisa! I wouldn't even have to think about it. I wouldn't care if it were going to :scared1: Canada! (;) PJ)

I have heard that from some of my co-workers with kids that age. It seems ridiculous how much thought you have to put into what classes they will take years in advance at that age. When I started high school there were two options - college track or vocational track. It just was not that difficult and it seemed to work fairly well for most kids.

Becka, I reall don't know how we made it through school with what teachers have to do these days. I wonder how we ever evolved, technically, as much as we have?? Must have been a fluke!

Wednesday.....hump day.....hmmm....

well it is pretty darn gorgeous out right now. I need to stop at Publix, order a cake for Haley's class and maybe pick up a few things. Our house is a DIS-aster, I really need to be picking up the rooms tonight...maybe some laundry or something while watching Idol.

Thanks for not being mad - but it was bound to happen and I apologize for participating - but Todd and I took it up on the Med August repo (see - it's Todd's fault ;)) - but it is kind of lonely over there - and out of context, it isn't the same. ((And I hate to be an outsider even if I did jump ship before it sailed, but still feel part because I was on this thread for over a year, have a lovely lime green t-shirt, and still think that potpie does not have a crust.)

EVeryone just wants to be this thread - consider it a compliment.

You definately are part of the group! I am sad that I won't be sailing with you in the Med Repo...:sad1:

I had almost forgotten to pick up DD from school today. She had to stay after for section practice for band. Speaking of band, DD's report card came today. She got all A's except for a B plus in band. The 4 page report she had to do for missing the parade and concert (2 pages for each thing missed) could only get as high as a 90 for a grade (sorry, but that is bull to me) and she missed her last lesson by accident, and couldn't make it up in time. She tried really hard to, offering to come in any time for it. Sorry, just had to gripe about it. It's annoying me, not Sarah.

Back from the cookie booth at Lowe's ... 62 boxes in 2 hours there. Hannah and the other Brownie were getting pretty silly by the end.... tunes from My Fair Lady with the lyrics changed to Girl Scout cookie phrases...

Not bad! We have sold over 300 CASES so far. Well, not sure how many of those are actually sold as far as what the girls themselves have left. Most have come for more two to three times already. If it wasn't so dang cold we would have had about 8 more booths under our belts and another 800 boxes or so sold.

Amy wanted to lay down . . . she is still not 100%, and of course Sophia got hungry and wanted Spaghettio's - I HATE those things. The smell of Spaghettio's in the microwave makes me gag. No kidding!

Ah, so that is what Carla is referring to in her siggie!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

And you just can't microwave Spaghettios.:scared1: Taste much better from the stove. But they don't taste as good as they used to.:confused3

Annette and Bobby spent some time on the balcony just watching the sea roll in ...... sounds like a Jimmy Buffet song doesn't it?

This is great Brack!!:thumbsup2

One last picture before I hit the road .....

Here's something you don't see everyday ...... a snow covered beach!

It snowed the Thursday night in Ocean City, MD enough to cover the beach all the way up to the water. It was a cool sight.

IMG_7629.jpg

I have seen that too many times to remember!:scared: You need to see the Delaware Bay frozen over with the ice burgs and everything!! I was scared our first winter here, especially when I fell part way through the ice at all of 7 years old! The things we were allowed to do.:lmao:
