Marielle - My parents and DH had some trouble getting it to download as well but they did eventually get it. Instead of letting it download directly to view they tried to save it as a file and then go back and play it. It is a pretty big file 30+ MB and I think that is part of the problem. It takes quiet a while to download.

I did a right-click, save-as thing on my computer... it didn't want to open up when I just clicked on the link....

Looks great so far Becka! I haven't watched the whole thing yet -- will be fun to match up to your trip report

I have to share with all of you how proud I am of William today. I found a note in his backpack tonight. He was voted as the student of the month for his classroom. This is what the kids wrote to turn in with his name.



The part that got to me the most was about him helping others when they are unhappy. IMO that says so much more about the kind of person he is growing up to be.

I love that - how special. Way to go William!

Thankfully the meds are starting to kick in and while I don't feel great I am at least feeling a little better. I still get tired pretty easily but they tell me in usually takes a few weeks to really feel completely well after you have pneumonia. Lucky me...

Believe it Becka. Very easy to relapse. You just need to take care of yourself (yeah easy to say chasing kiddies). Feel better soon!

Carla, I forgot to tell you that yesterday the only thing that got her to get dressed for Church is the fact that I told her the black dress shoes were Bella's.

Met a school board member from NJ today - K-8 district 7 miles from the bridge to Manhatten with 750 students. Starts with a D - small town and cannot remember the name of the town.

I have added more to my trip report for those who have been reading. I didn't get much updated recently since I had been sick but I have now managed to get Days 5 and 6 posted and I hope to finally finish it by mid-week.

I'll have to go check the rest out! I hope you and Kristina feel better. How long were you out of work?

Actually, I have an idea... but it's going to require some audience participation....

I'd like to put everyone's pics together on a DVD slideshow but I would probably miss some really good pictures, so if I can get everyone to email me their "showcase" photos, I'll compile them and send out a DVD to everyone.

I thought of doing several themes -- 1 for general family, 1 for Pirate night, 1 for Cozumel and Costa Maya, shore excursions, etc... maybe 1 for character greetings... 1 for Castaway Cay.

What do you think? I know everyone is busy with life now, and I certainly don't want to make everyone cry all over, but I think the kids would get a kick out of watching the photos over and over

ok, work vent here.....

my boss has been avoiding me like the plague since Friday morning. Normally an email would have been sent out re my resignation, etc. I think a "hey, I'm working on an offer" or a "don't let the door hit you" would be more than appropriate.

And not sure if I posted but I got home Friday to two messages for interviews....both high end of the salary was less, and while I hate to say it's about money, well....it's a heavy factor. Especially with the increase in daycare fees.

soooo, I am feeling anxious....a little nervous, but wow....what a shot in the arm. This new company sounds fantastic. And they already took the job posting down off there site.

The girls, the girls...OH MY! Haley is now in a toddler bed, but them sharing a room is a HUGE mistake. My goodness, it's a slumber party every night at the Carlin house. Hopefully within the next five years we can add on a room to theirs and Jack and Jill the bathroom and go up a story for a new master bedroom and open ours out to the pool and make it into a sportsmans dream. I will need a second job for all this, even a third!

I have been looking at the videos and photos and am sad that while spending so much time getting to know everyone on this thread that we really didn't spend that much time with everyone.

I'm SO excited for you! Well your soon to be old boss is acting in a manner that will make it so much easier to leave him. He's probably thinking about all of the lost productivity!

A toddler bed and slumber parties. Boy are they going to have fun stories when they get older.

Re the videos...they are lovely. The time you got to spend with everyone was quality time. Its not always the length of time. I thought the same - so many people I would have loved to interact with more - until I remember all of the special little moments here and there.

Also having the time with my husband enjoying a meal alone - now when the heck does that ever happen?! Reconnecting with my family without a cellphone. Or the interaction of all of the kids during different moments. Having the opportunity to interact with new friends and lots of laughter. That's the cool thing about it all. I'm going to SO miss you all when you are on the Repo cruises.
