Hey V - I read your posts on the main board about the big envelopes of pictures and stuff you got from Flounders for Haley. With so much going on it never even occurred to me that we never got anything from them in the way of pictures or anything else. On our 4 night we got a nice little Poloraid of DD with Donald Duck and it is one of my favorite pictures of her from that trip. She spent almost 8 hours in Flounders so I find it a big hard to believe that with as many characters as Haley saw there that there were not any there when Allie was. It really makes me wonder because DD loves the characters and has never been afraid of any of them.

I know we don't normally speak about politics here, but I was just listening to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi speaking about her trip to Iraq, and let me tell you..... for those people that say George Bush can't speak well, they must have never heard this lady........ OMG...... I will just let it go at that....

did you go on the last night or night before that? John actually picked her up and they gave it to him and he stuffed it in the pocket of the umbrella stroller. I didn't even see it right away.

Could have been the day Haley was there AFTER they closed....remember the late excursion fiasco? She was actually in the club with her sister making crowns when we did get back.

eta: and bad mom moment...but Haley was there quite a bit more than 8 hours for the week I am sure. The excursion day alone was 6 hours I think. I also think the charcters come in when there are fewer children in there and not as much chaos going on. I never saw any in there and would have never known? Makes you wonder what is going on in there!

No. The last time she was there was Wed. night. They would not let her come back without a medical clearance after that. On the Wonder the night they took the pics was the night they gave them to us when we picked her up.

That is strange because when I asked about additional hours they acted like there was really not much availability. I didn't ask for any specific hours but they made it sound like I didn't have much of a shot of getting Allie in. Of course this was early in the week....maybe they had a lot of cancellations or maybe they really did not like DD. I am starting to wonder what exactly was going on there. DD is usually pretty adaptable to things and she certainly is no stranger to group care but after her first visit she screamed when you tried to drop her off. When we would pick her up she would always be sleeping and they told us she had a good time.

Anyhow, I have absolute firsthand knowledge from being here in Washington that being intelligent or well-spoken is not a necessary prerequisite to being elected to office.

Now that you mention it I seem to recall previous cruisers on the Magic saying they had a delivery to their room the last night with pics from Flounders and often times extras like artwork, etc.. We never saw anything like that either. Maybe Allie was too much of a handful that first evening we put her in there on Monday night.

She was in Flounders about 3 hours on Monday night, about 2 hours on Tuesday morning and then again for about 3 hours on Wednesday night. That was it. The only other time we had scheduled was the 2 hours on Thursday for our brunch.
