AAAWWW. We were looking at photos yesterday and saw you Brandi and both of us said "she is just so sweet!" Miss you too!

When do you have to go back to teaching? For some reason I thought you were back after break.
Thought you'd get a kick out of this: I mentioned before that Elizabeth's middle school orchestra played POTC theme for the winter concert. She was selected for the Schuylkill Valley orchestra (kids from 9 districts), which also is playing POTC (but a different/harder arrangement). Now they're doing a special school-district-wide orchestra performance .... and they're doing the POTC theme, too (but yet another arrangement!!!)

That is funny...at least she is getting to play the POTC theme!!!! Not surprising there are many different arrangements.

I was originally going to start today Jan. 2. but...they contracted my sub for a full half year. So I am starting on the first day of the second semester...which is Jan 17th. Boo Hoo Hoo. I was up bawling last night for hours. I am starting to really get upset about leaving my kiddos! It is just so hard for me.

Actually, Amy, I was referring to the Ohio State/Florida game....the people I care about being you/John1 and Vanessa.
BUT WOW!!! That Boise State game was the best I have seen in a long, long time! Having never been an Oklahoma fan, and usually rooting for the underdog if I have no other loyalties, I was rooting for Boise in that one. Guess they did show us all that they at least have the heart of a Big Dog. And did you stick around for the marriage proposal at the end? Oh my goodness! DrHug and I both were a bit "misty".

YEA!!! Go Boise State! Steve said it may be the best college game he has ever seen! HOORAY!!!!

No, guess I am "essential". Our facility decided to keep the clinics, surgery, etc open as it would be a nightmare to try to cancel and reschedule all of those on short notice. So, the powers decided an advocate should be here too, incase someone gets upset. I do get holiday pay though and I will only stay until 3:30 when stuff shuts down around here instead of my regular 5:30.

I agree with him. It was very, very fun game. Constant excitement, real heart, like one of those movies about the underdogs pulling it out in the end, it had it all.

I am glad that the kids are home because I am able to stop cleaning. DH & I have been attacking the clutter & dust all day. He worked downstairs and I tackled upstairs. It always feels good to end up with a dirty dust cloth and a full bag of trash to put outside after you have been cleaning.

well tonight starts our "serious" training....we are hitting the gym after work. April will be here before you know it!

UGH. Just got an email notification that Toys R Us is cancelling the "free" item of my buy one get one free leapster games... (they say it's not in stock now, but it's not just delayed until in stock)... but they did not cancel the regular price item. Umm; I don't think so. So I called and got the full price one cancelled too, but she's not sure if it shipped already.

I HATE! HATE!! HATE!!! when that happens. They cancelled 3 of the 4 henleys I ordered last week at Old Navy. I called them right away to cancel the last one. Their system was "updating" all week. I gave the girl my order number & told her to cancel it. It was here when we got back. I will be on the phone fighting that one tomorrow.

win is the big OSU vs Gator game? I know I should know that but we have been concentrating on watching the bengals throw away a great season. the coach announced today that no one is on the team right now. they all have to earn their way back to the team. we really had a lot of problems with the law and players. the players all agreed they were being selfish but they are not sure how to change their attitudes--try making them sit the bench or having to give some of their salary back maybe?

I am so glad that I got to meet most of you. I really will miss you guys on our next cruise.

I am so so mad that I had to miss the second half of that game! I knew I had to get to work in the morning, and it was just too late, and with this cold I was too tired . . .

I saw the highlights today. It ranks right up there with the OSU - Miami National Championship game that also went to overtime. I was rooting for Boise too, even with the Stoops connection to Ohio, I have never really cared for Oklahoma since I was a kid.
