Looks like Leslie had a lot of problems this cruise.

Alan is taking care of it for me. The October cruise she had 3 in the 6 and 2 in the 11 so he is switching that also saving about $100.

Also in regards to the 10% discount. When you see the BASE FARE before taxes and fees, there is another kind of fee already in there that does not get the 10%. He said it was something like $240 pp so that explains what I came up with.

I'll have to recheck all of this out later this afternoon to give him some time for it to show up on the website.

What is really strange is that I could have sworn I saw the charges on my CC when I looked it up, which is why I thought they were fine, but they are not there now...

If anyone else has problems, Alan is very nice. His extention is X61456.

I just booked DD and DSIL. They are in room 6583!! I will have her get back on here posting. She is Sweetpea.

We're booked in that room for the Repo.

I am really starting to want to keep that one again. Maybe if we just eat at the restaurant everyday... cut the cable, nix dance, go back to dial up ...

Well, I told John about the cruise last night (that we were booked)....he's like, V, come on you think I didn't already know...remember you can't lie at all dear!


He also said to tell everyone he is upset that the banana got to do more than he did!

Ibrahim knows about the Repo cruise being booked, well at least that we have been talking about it. He doesn't know about the Oct just in case one though. I am sure he just assumes...

Well they better do something about it! This is crazy!! After all the ressies get corrected, I still have to see what rooms are available on the Oct. He said he will try to get us closer, but I will look myself later. Around the corner was fine, but front to back is nuts!!

Yes, i was looking to see what was left in our fridge/cabinets for xmas dinner and UMMM it's pretty bare...

i have some tuna some noodles but no mayo so Macaroni salad is out...

i have no ham...

Tana got upgraded to a suite I believe so I think she got lots of extras because of that. or maybe that is the stuff she got for being Oceaneer club "family of the week".

I have a turkey in the freezer from TG since our crowd was so much smaller. DrHug said he would like that fine for Christmas. I also bought 2 primerib roasts this week as they were on sale for $3.97 lb. I think I will do one of those on NY. Will go nicely with the Rosebowl!

And I still need to wrap all the christmas presents. I wish christmas weren't approaching so quickly.

I still need to get some stocking stuffers for the kids but other than that I am done buying gifts. I have the Christmas cards addressed but not stamped or mailed yet and I have all of the wrapping left to do. I also need to buy all the stuff for Christmas dinner and start cleaning the house. Cleaning is hard when most of the suitcases are still piled up unpacked in the living room.

I still have not been grocery shopping since we got back so our cupboards are also really bare. I am picking up a birthday cake for DH after work so I will make sure I also buy some milk, bread, etc.. to last us until I do major grocery shopping tomorrow or Friday evening.

Good News...

I found a ham for xmas....

Our family has always had a Krakus (polish imported canned ham) for xmas.

One of the grocery stores in ellicott city (over near Charlotte) has them and is saving me one to pick up on Friday pm.

Don't have any homemade pierogies this year but i think we can deal....

ROFL!!! YOU were the instigator of that Elaine, I was definitely not the organizer, just trying to help Karoly fix things as he didn't even know which tables were part of the group. It would have been so nice to have us all more together. Or at least no big server station between tables, LOL.

I never did meet the family at your table Elaine, were they part of the DIS group?

Caroline - re the reservations. THank heavens we are all interacting with each other to at least know its an issue. Imagine those people who have no clue.

Angie - the tree is up and fortunately Bella took it upon herself to decorate some things before we left because that is how it still stands today.

Food - what's that? Kristina - send some tuna. Send the leg lamp too while you are at it. See tuna will work Christmas Eve it is all about the fishes after all. We have nothing done. The house is a disaster and the house line is ringing off the hook with people calling wondering what they should bring. if thye onlt knew there isn't a blessed thing started her.

Sick saga continued:

Went to doctors, sent for xrays, ruled out pneumonia, looks like double virus - as one ends another starting - the stomach one. Cant do much but puke and hydrate. My poor poor kid. At the same time I am saying poor poor ME.

I sent a HELP ME! message to DH. Working from home has its advantages but they still expect you to work! He had his work party today. Is it terrible of me to be kind of annoyed that they are all out there eating and having fun while I deal with the madhouse. I told him I relinquish calling all relatives re what to bring, and getting things organized other than the house, decorations, tables etc etc (all the tedious stuff). He needs to call the bajillion year old hard of hearing uncles to tell him for the 100th time what time to come.

--there goes the work line. Gotta go.
