there has been some really good plays. It is fun to watch a new QB. this is his first start, Cutler I think. he really is doing a good job tonight.

I can't imagine what it must feel like on your first start in a pro game! His parents must feel like it is surreal to see there son out on the field!

I was supposed to get all the xmas shopping & wrapping done this weekend. well I didn't get it done. I refuse to let it stress me out. what is left will get done when we get back. this week is going to go quickly but is going to be very stressful. I can't wait to be my 1st Bahama Mama on board.

Christmas? Christmas is coming?? I'm going on a cruise!!!

HI Dr. Hug? how are you doing? what is your weather like out there? we have been so cold today. tomorrow is suppose to be our coldest morning yet this season. I know it is just starting but I really was hoping we wouldn't get too cold before we left.

DH is planning on dropping the kids & I off with the luggage at the airport so that we don't have to take winter coats with us. coming home could be another challenge. I think DH will probably go get the car while the kids & I collect the luggage. I hope we can pick up curbside also.

I don't think there is, but if anyone is anyone is staying at the Country Inn and Suites and would like to store anything in our car, you are more than welcome!

Hey, I just noticed. I passed up 500 posts tonight. I know compared to you guys that is not a lot but it sure looks like a lot to me considering I don't do stuff like this. Everyone have a wonderful Monday. One week from tonight we will have just left Castaway Cay and falling asleep to the gentle rocking of the waves.

Time for my irregularly scheduled Tar Heel update:
Carolina women's soccer won the national championship today, a 2-0 victory over #2 seed Notre Dame. Always amazing, the Heels have won 18 NCAA championships in the past 25 years.
Carolina women's basketball defeated Tennessee tonight. Both teams were highly ranked (#2 vs #4). Ivory Latta is fun to watch!
Back to the regular postings now!

Sounds like a great team though! I wish they had at least had girls soccer when I was in high school. They didn't even think about let girls on the team then.

GOOD MORNING FROM THE WORLD....

No time to read any posts but thought I'd stop in to say hello... I'm posting from the lobby of the Beach Club, where I bought an hour of access so I could send an email (to my co-worker to ask her to fedex me my cell phone charger which I left at home....) and to purchase a new battery charger on Ebay for my Digi Rebel, which I left in our old room when we changed rooms... Lost and foundn doesn't open till 8:30 this morning and I'm not willing ot chance that they won't have it and I definitely need one before we get on the ship... so the charger was $2.95 and the 3 day air was $16.95, lol.... but it will get here!!!

The weather is balmy and was downright muggy warm in the 80s yesterday. It's probably mid 60s and humid outside right now... Going to AK for Donald's breakfastasaurus in an hour. I downloaded Penny's newsletter and will read it offline later. I cannot wait to meet you all!

We had a successful shopping trip yesterday (I know, who braves the mall on a weekend in December!!) But I wanted to go to the Apple Store to have them replace some key caps for my PowerBook (the dangers of a 3-year-old at the keyboard; he's figured out how to snap them off). The guy took care of everything quickly and we were on our way to Santa.

The Santa line was long, but Walt was agreeable (and had a free lollipop from the See's candy stand). DDs got a break from the line to hit a few stores while we waited and to get some wet paper towels from the restroom for a sticky boy (see above: free lollipop!)

Santa arrived! Children talk to him! No crying! Elizabeth is a good sport and agrees to sit with the siblings for the photo. Walt tells the big guy that he wants a toy and a "woovie" (that's a movie). Not big on specifics for Santa, there. Hannah gives in to my demand to keep the sweater on (no I did not coordinate their clothes; but the tank top under the sweater just does not work with Santa.
