I ironed my arm off today!!! The clothing for all 4 is pretty much packed. I still have all of the other stuff to pack. We have 4 suitcases and a garment bag. I am stressing because I think I will need one more...

I am not even half way thru. I should be ironing now.

To be honest I don't know at this point...

i just spoke with John and his Mom is going to Intensive Care. She is in severe pain, they can hardly get a BP reading on her. It looks like her cathe. got infected and it is going crazy. her kidneys had started to fail.... She is a stubborn lady and of course didn't telll any one that she wasn't feeling well earlier only when she starting vomiting did his brother notice she was ill.....

John and I both think she needs to be an assisted living home but you know how that is....

Anyway we will see what happens...

I hate to ask but do you guys have travel insurance? Does it cover pre-existing conditions?

I really need to go and at LEAST clean all of my clothes off of the bed before dave gets back from poker - AND i told the boys to go to bed at 11, but they are still up!!

Then you must think me a real nut! We share almost everything with JoJo ..... bed, blanket, food, Starbucks lattes and occasionally our ice cream!

C'mon Brack fess up, you guys share a lot more than that. Car, hotel room, vacations, etc. we are having someone stay at the house and talked with her because the dogs really react if they cannot find our smell in the bed. we are washing all of the bedding except the comforter so that they can still be comfortable. we are also leaving several t shirts down so that they can snuggle with them. I know, I spoil them as much as my kids.

Amy, I am so sorry. my grandfather has gone through this a couple of times. he turned 95 this year. he doesn't have a catheter but he continually gets UTIs and then winds up in IC. I hope things get better very quickly. Grandpa had to go into assisted living four years ago after grandma passed away. he doesn't always remember that she is gone.

We are all praying for all of you.

this is going on with dave's grandmother right now - his mom called yesterday and she'd been readmitted to RMH - she keeps getting bladder/kidney infections and is also having intestinal/digestive issues and cannot keep anything in/down. The docs said she is too old/frail to operate, so it is wait/see now. She will probably have to move from her retirement/assisted living home to a nursing home. It's tough to see them so miserable!!

It started with Lisa quoting a post I missed, then she was questioning me about something, then Becka went and said goodnight to Diane and I didn't see her say goodnight, then Yahoo TV changed their site and messed it all up and it took me 15 minutes to find out what was on channel 61 for DD...

I was hanging up laundry today and I went to hang up one of my shirts and thought, "boy, I should hang mine on the blue hangers and put Devon's stuff on the pink ones...Kris could have the ...."

If we did that DH would notice I keep buying more clothes.
