I already have the kids each doing something for a day. Jake made an ornament for thier tree and a card. For Eliza we are tracing her hands.

I was going to say a candle - and I liked the hershey hug/kisses - and what about a frame to be filled with a pic from cruise??

Amy that's awful. Is John going to feel comfortable leaving them behind?

To be honest I don't know at this point...

i just spoke with John and his Mom is going to Intensive Care. She is in severe pain, they can hardly get a BP reading on her. It looks like her cathe. got infected and it is going crazy. her kidneys had started to fail.... She is a stubborn lady and of course didn't telll any one that she wasn't feeling well earlier only when she starting vomiting did his brother notice she was ill.....

John and I both think she needs to be an assisted living home but you know how that is....

Anyway we will see what happens...

okay. I got the kids packed except for the pants that DS needs for dinner--do you think anyone would notice if they were rolled up rather than hemmed? and a little bit of DD stuff that we can't pack until the last day. DH & I are packed except for socks, shoes, and his dress pants. We will have to wait to pack the medicine bag until later in the week. I know I am forgetting stuff but figure I can just get it on the trip if needed. always time to go shopping on the trip. I can't seem to get DH & my suitcase closed but I am sure it will eventually close. the great thing is that all the laundry in the house is done. now I just need to keep up with it during the week.

DH had it up on the computer while I was ironing. WE ARE NEXT!!!1

I ironed my arm off today!!! The clothing for all 4 is pretty much packed. I still have all of the other stuff to pack. We have 4 suitcases and a garment bag. I am stressing because I think I will need one more...

I can get them to coordinate for formal photo sittings and dress up for church and down for yardwork. Other than that we are "come as you are".

My BF sailed in June and said her big suitcases (29 inch) wouldn't fit under the bed... I've read they can.

Your BF obviously didn't read the DIS boards. You just have to lift the bedframe & slide them under.

This is Winsor Canadian Kline. DS covered him with a blanket. I am a nut..but I had to wash it right away. That is a people blanket...not a dog blanket.

Then you must think me a real nut! We share almost everything with JoJo ..... bed, blanket, food, Starbucks lattes and occasionally our ice cream!

Amy, I am so sorry. my grandfather has gone through this a couple of times. he turned 95 this year. he doesn't have a catheter but he continually gets UTIs and then winds up in IC. I hope things get better very quickly. Grandpa had to go into assisted living four years ago after grandma passed away. he doesn't always remember that she is gone.

We are all praying for all of you.
