I don't like not having a car but it isn't as bad as I thought it would be. DH and DD went walking over to the arcade place and played air hockey. She eyeballed the go-carts but she has 10 years before that becomes a reality. The car service was great and we did the stop so DH could pick up water. I guess kidney stones put the fear of everything into you because he asked if we wanted to buy more to be please get more because he would not be able to share what he is bringing since he counted it out. Poor thing.

Hopefully I won't have an attack on board. It is bad enough my feet are twice their normal size right now... I just took a water pill, but I have never tried them before. Hope they work!

Glad to hear you like the place. I saw that in a later reply to your reply. I can't recall which one you finally settled on.

Okay just a quick break. I am SO ready to unwind and get this cruise started.

We are at the Country Inn & Suites. It has a really neat little "room" for the kids with a twin and a set of bunks. THey even have their own tv! If they had gotten here on time they could have enjoyed it a little more.

I've put my luggage tags on the bags. We have a 10:30A pick up. Is that too late?

We are taking the 9:30 shuttle. Should take all of 2 minutes to get there. DH doesn't understand why I want to get there so early. I changed his time to 10:30 with Amanda and Dina.

I was in such a rush this morning I forgot my second lens. I had also gotten a crumpler bag and I have been going back and forth for a couple of weeks on having gotten the smaller bag so I had not transfered anything into it until yesterday. The lens was in my office and I just didn't have the time to run back. Actually I forgot.

I don't even have a bag for my camera!

We got to the airport about 12:45. No line at Southwest check-in, and a reasonable (maybe 10 minutes, if that) security line... not sure if it got worse later on. We had time to eat airport food; then they started boarding very early; probably before 2 pm. We were the only pre-boarders (kid under age 4). Sat in the second row.

Now see?!?! If he had left right after he picked up the girls like a told him too...

I think the reason he left late is because his delivery man's (who is also a friend) 4 YO DD has been in the hospital since yesterday. They tested her for Menengitis, but luckily it came back negative. DH has been really worried about them and the store since they are now 2 people short.

trying to get a message to Kimrn ( or something similiar) I met her on the bus tonight - 12/8 on her way to 1900 park fare dinner. There was a package under her seat and a sweater left after she got off. We left the stuff with the driver. It was bus 4764 around 7:30pm. She was cruising with the dis group on 12/9. I hope that she can contact lost and found with the info I gave.

Packing here was worse than packing up at home. Still packing and I have a package I have to mail out tonight. (sigh..)

I know what you mean! DH and the girls brought more stuff along plus I bought some stuff, so I just got done repacking from the car.
