A wife invited some people to dinner. At the table, she turned to their six-year-old daughter and said, "Would you like to say the blessing?"

"I wouldn't know what to say," the girl replied.

"Just say what you hear Mommy say," the wife answered.

The daughter bowed her head and said,









"Lord, why on earth did I invite all these people to dinner?"

Ahhh, Now I understand. Well at least they will have it for a lifetime. Just like the memories we will have of this trip.

A mother was preparing pancakes for her sons, Kevin 5, and Ryan 3. The boys began to argue over who would get the first pancake. Their mother saw the opportunity for a moral lesson.



"If Jesus were sitting here, He would say, 'Let my brother have the first pancake, I can wait.'


Kevin turned to his younger brother and said,









" Ryan , you be Jesus !"

Hey everyone,
Just thought I'd post my 2 cents today . It's been a weird week so far. I turned my bedroom into a tornado look-a-like yesterday trying to get packed for Disney and the Cruise ...plus I want to get my Christmas Shopping done before we leave. It's about 1/2 done so at least I have a start.
So what is everyone else up today????? I can't belive that vacation time starts on Monday afternoon. We are driving from Kitchener to Buffalo, spending the night there and then leaving early Tuesday morning for WDW! I can't wait to get out of Kitchener-away from the rain and impending snow!

Hey Holly!

I have about 1/2 of our clothing ready. The girls are almost good to go so I can pack the stuff. As for DH and I...

Other than that I am waiting for my new camera so I can get a clue how to use it by cruise time.

High 50's wow ...its only 45 here and thats about it for today THIS IS VEGAS PEOPLE - I usually wear shorts all Year ...needed to break out the jeans ...yuck

DD and were talking about Vegas today. It would be so cool to live in a place where there is no snow but if you feel like it you can drive to the mountains and play in the snow for a while. Then go home to the nice warm weather (and clean driveway).

Hey - speaking of the jungle? I have read that bug spray repellant stuff is a necessity for this ruins tour. I have not been able to find any up here...apparently bugs do not need repelling here during a Missouri winter. Do you know of any kind soul who might be willing to bring theirs along and "fog" my DH with it. I would hate to have to raise these 2 kids on my own if he died from malaria....

I have bug spray packed, he can use it. I also read though that bug spray is provided for those who need it so no worries.

Once in awhile, the tooth fairy is unable to do her job because a child's bedroom is so messy that she can't get through and decides to try again another day.

One time the gift fell on the floor and we woke up to a crying child because the tooth was missing and there was no gift in it's place. After that we started leaving the tooth on a side table instead of under the pillow.

PS the TF left gifts at our house not money.

DD's friend gets little fairy statues. She has been asking alot of questions lately about why everyone gets something different.

TF clears things with mom and dad first, of course. She leaves the kids at our house a quarter (really!) even though the going rate among their friends is $2-$5.
