Two questions as I try to catch up...

1. Do you people NOT have things to do...pack?!!! Iron cruise clothes??!!! get Christmas stuff done?!!! I have 30+ pages to catchup on!!! Geesh!!!

Of course there are lots of things to do! Do you think I would have taken the extra time DD is at preschool today and went to the hairdressers or to the store by myself? Noooooooo. But then I am waiting on the FedEx man...


Remember, I am the queen of procrastination. I feel like I am so far ahead!

Confession time!

Back to be the lead contender for worse mom of the year. Amanda lost a tooth yesterday. You can guess from there what happened this morning.






I did warn her though that the TF might not come if she kept acting up.

Same thing happened here once. DD woke me up at like 5am and said "Mom, the tooth fairy still hasn't visited... she usually comes before now." I sent her back off to sleep so that I could "Call up the tooth fairy and see if she was running behind". She sure was!

No....not sure I will since I filled out most ....but not all ....my info on the site. I am kinda getting a little bothered that my TA hasn't sent the luggage tickets....but I'm assured they will be here today.

Three hours later and have I packed anything? Of course not! Why you may ask? Well let me tell you. I took the two tubs of DH's winter clothes upstairs to get them out of the family room where they have been for the past 2 weeks so that DH wont be annoyed about them being there tonight when he gets home. I made the bed & went to put a sweatshirt away on the shelf in the closet. However...said shelf was pretty rocky so I checked it and NONE of the clips on the back wall had any shelf in them. OY! I took everything off the shelf & the rod underneath and finally after several attempts and a few choice words the shelf was in the clips. I figured that I would just hang up the cooler clothes & leave the summer stuff on the bed to go thru for packing later on. Could I do that? Of course not! Every single long sleeved shirt that I picked up was terribly wrinkled. So, instead of ironing the shirts in the tubs later on, I ended up ironing the ones in the closet to begin with...along with folding up the summer stuff I wont be packing & putting that in the tubs.

I have stopped for lunch and am far enough along with this task to plan on going into DS's room when I go back upstairs. UGH!!! The kids go to the dentist at 3:30 so I can't work all afternoon.

High 50's wow ...its only 45 here and thats about it for today THIS IS VEGAS PEOPLE - I usually wear shorts all Year ...needed to break out the jeans ...yuck

No kidding!! When I drove DD to school this morning the temperature was 34!!!! Came home and watched the news and they said there's a freeze warning for tonight. Living in the desert all my life I'm not used to cold. And the wind - UGH!
