Ok, well I've been to Cleveland and can't say I much care for the city, much less the airport...then again it was the middle of January and freezing cold! I was walking downtown near the Lake front and could not even see - I was bundled up so tight.

Never been to Canton Akron but stayed in Canton a few times...the Thirsty Dog Brewery is there....love their beer. (BEER, not bear...)

I would think that SW would only go down from there...if they are booking at 1200 now, the would come down to something more reasonable....CLE is not a big airport (as BWI) so that might be the issue. Ever consider flying thru PIT? Is it far?

I hate to tell you Andy, but the Thirsty Dog is no more . . . A Ruby Tuesday's took it's place . . . That IS a funny vision of you walking in Cleveland though!

A funny vision? I was SOOO cold...I had a CVS near the lakefront (9th street maybe) that I had to take OUTSIDE measurements of...I was bundled up with gloves and had my scarf up around my face with only my eyes exposed...I couldn't believe how cold it was...plus, I parked over on ummm Euclid?

Sounds about right . . . the wind off the lake can be WICKED! You should try sitting through a football game in that - in the UPPER DECK facing that lake! Wind hits you in the face, whips around and comes up your backside!

Anyway, next time in Cleveland, try Great Lakes Brewery - BETTER than Thirsty Dog!

I usually don't have that trouble at football games..have you tried wearing PANTS?

Thirsty Dog was great because the Red Roof was right behind it...the Official Hotel of CVS road trips...<sad, I know..> We could enjoy a nice dinner...maybe even eat some food!

Then again, I don't see myself going to Cleveland much anymore...my travelling for work days are over....
