Becka, were you the mickeyplan instigator? I remember thinking I am never going to understand what these people are talking about! :rotfl2:

Lisa or someone came up with the idea for MICKEYPLAN since I complained about not being able to keep up with everyone and therefore not knowing what was being planned. How things have changed.... ;)

I remember that... :lmao:

Some have had sick family. Some are intimidated by the posting speed and can't keep up but are planning to participate in the meets.

Intimidated by the posting speed...now what exactly does THAT mean? ;)

Wow, I didn't realize the better deal upgrading at port - makes sense I guess since they don't want to sail empty but makes me wonder my pricing. I figured from 2 years ago it would have been better. 'Guess not.

Kim - what do you mean it exploded?!!

The more I think about this exploding fluff the more it has me concerned. How many of you are bringing fluff on the cruise? Are you on Deck 6? Is the aftermath going to look like the end of Ghostbusters when the Stay Puff Marshmellow Man explodes? Is exploding fluff covered by travel insurance?

WE NEED DETAILS KIM!!!!! :rotfl2:

I don't know about the halls...but if your cabin is directly next to mine...look out...every night when we put Eliza to bed she screams for about 2 or 3 min. you will get to hear her...sorry in advance.

Now you tell me this?

Actually she may not cry because she will be so distracted from all the noise coming from our stateroom. Or more likely she will be too tired to cry. Both my kids were exhausted every night. It made for the easiest bedtimes ever. :thumbsup2

Can you 7 day vets just take my hand and walk me through this process. The overwhelming not enough time in the day, what the heck am I doing feeling is starting to take over. Am I feeling buyers remorse now (this could have gone towards a car) or ineptitude? Can I navigate all of this stuff. Is DH going to have a good time? Are DD's expectations of the club too high since she loved the 4 day club? Is Shutters worse on a 7 day (I felt closed in on the 4 day)? Should I keep the Spa treatments or try to get a deal on one of the Cozumel days? If a tree falls in the woods does it make a sound?

Some more DCL trivia for you guys....

On 12/09/2006 the craziest group of cruisers ever boarded the Disney Magic and the ship was never quite the same again! :lmao:

On 12/10/2006 multiple jars of fluff exploded and coated the interior of the ship. The tragedy took the life of one bathroom bat that unwisely decided to get too close to a jar.

Angie, I thought this was such a wonderful idea, I ran right to borders and got the princess collection. GREAT GREAT IDEA!!!! THANK YOU!!!
Great! Don't expect a Chipmunk to keep it and mail it to you though....I knew that particular Chipmunk very, very well. Sadly is no longer a Chipmunk. :sad2: But she did say the characters love to sign storybooks rather then just the autograph books. :thumbsup2

Hi Guys & Gals...
Looks like the board just exploded since I left you last. Is John still doing his daily soliliquy? Is Becka still talking to herself late at night... =) I've missed you guys! Well Yes, a Mickeyplan is a great idea, Lisa you have the best ideas... For us slow-paced boarders, we need a set of Cliff notes, which will help us along with all that we're missed.

Keep me up to date! Any major changes?

Thanks much!
Elizabeth

OH MY!!!! Kathryn told me a terrible story about the Christmas she was 6. They had lots of small world light ornament things that she remembers. Her dad got mad & picked up the tree & shoved it into the fireplace, breaking many of the glass ornaments. Her mother was so upset with him that instead of salvaging what she could she dragged all of it out to the curb. They had to go out & buy all new ornaments the next year.
LOL, ours was not decorated yet when DrHug hurled it out of the house! We were still trying to get it to stand up in the stand! :rotfl:

Should I get it filled or just take it to the doctor onboard & have them fill it if I need to? :confused3
Get it filled. Onboard will cost you a fortune!

Question: I want to take a little bottle of hand sanitizer and hand lotion in my purse on the plane. Do we still need to put those in ziploc bags? Also, we have to put our medications in a ziploc also, right?
Yes, and it has to be quart size ziploc. The lotions have to be 3 oz or less.

Can someone explain to me why I end up procrastinating on stuff? I have so much stuff to do tonight and I really should have done a lot more yesterday so I could go to bed at a reasonable hour tonight. :sad2:

I have to go out at lunch and find a gift for my sister and BIL since the one I ordered online was never going to get here. Right after work I have to pick up the kids, get home, throw in some laundry, make dinner and bake 3 apple pies. I also have to wrap my sister’s gift and pack everything we need for the weekend. Then I have to clean out the car and get it all packed up and ready to go.

We will need to get up early tomorrow and be completely ready to go. I am going to drop DH off at work and the kids at school before I head to work so right after I get off work at 4:30 I can pick everyone up and we can immediately leave for Arkansas.

If I would have cleaned out my car and done over half of the packing last night I would not be quite so panicky right now. Of course it does not help that I am sitting here at work when I know I have so much to do at home. I wish I could take some time off and get a head start on it but since I am the only payroll support person here today I have to stay. :sad2:

Shutters is Shutters but you may be able to find times it is less crowded on the 7 day - just because there IS more time.

DH will have a great time! DD already knows what to expect from the club, she will just have more of it plus time to spend with you. Keep your spa treatment and add one at Cozumel if they have something that looks great and has a good price. Relax you will have a great time.

The tree thing I don't know, we have discussed it several times at our house.
