I checked for upgrades earlier today and nothing. I did notice at the time that the site was painfully slow....

Well I got my 3 Apple pies made and they are in the freezer ready to be baked on Tuesday evening. They don't look real pretty but I ain't Martha Stewart and I think they will still taste pretty good.

We have a real tree every year and while I LOVE LOVE multi colored lights, DH loves just white, so I put colored in all the garland and we compromise and get my kind of tree and his kind of lights.

John, my parents just chopped thiers down yesterday. Permit and everything! They love doing that. Then they plant 5 new ones every spring!

Our first year we were married I compromised and let DH put the BIG colored lights in the tree. The white ones were wrapped tightly around the branches & didn't come off. I really winced at the thought but they actually looked nice together.

Those formal, coordinated trees look pretty but I never really understood them. To me they just didn't represent what I have always loved so much about Christmas.

We have lots of Disney ornaments (of course), a Power Ranger ornament, zoo animal Christmas cookie ornaments, Coca-Cola bears, preschool made ornaments, etc.. In fact our star was even made by Nathan. He wanted to make the star for the top of our tree so we took some black foam paper and painted it with silver glitter. It looks kind of silly but DS loves it! I imagine it will be our tree topper for at least a few more years!

Also we have colored lights...the kind that chase each other and blink like crazy!

Did you all get upgraded after your docs had been printed last time?

Yes we did. I hadn't received our docs on Thanksgiving last year but posted our upgrade. When we got the docs the next week they were the old number. John didn't think that they had gotten upgraded since their docs had the old number. It was upgraded on the website, however.

AAAARRRRRRGGGG! I am going to hurt Nathan!

I was in our bedroom packing and I heard DS go into his bathroom. Then I hear him peeing except I can hear that he is not aiming well and is peeing on the rim and it is running all down on the floor and on him and he just stands there like nothing is the matter! As if that was not bad enough I go in there and I see that he has once again peed in the bathtub!!! And you can guess who did it right? Yep - he said a bat did it!

On top of that while I was packing I realized that I had one extra dinner outfit for Nathan and one less for Allie! I guess when I was laying everything out earlier I got confused.

And you said I had bad math...

He gets to do plenty believe me but there has to be a trade off somewhere! I am compromising here. He gets to bring his little pin book and I get to have room to pack his underwear....we wouldn't want him to have to join the little kids on Deck 6!

I should know better to not come on when everyone else is sleeping!
