Do you know what I just realized? While the new server might be great I am sure the DIS will need to be down for a while to install it! What are we going to do without DIS!!!! We might have to PACK! Maybe we can arrange one big conference call so at least we can chat while we pack!

Chances are they will install the new one, get it running at 100%, backup everything from this server to the new one and then at 3 am one morning, shut down the first and load up the second. We may not even know the difference...until we wake up.

Actually we were driving back from visiting my MIL (I got major points for that one) and we started discussing the cruise. I mentioned V's comment in chat whether he knew I Dised and my reply to her that he does but not the extent of it (aren't I clever!). Since he didn't react I continued.

He's heard about you and John and Lisa. I've snuck Brandi in there. Today I mentioned Diana - actually I started with Diana living where I traveled this week (small world) and from there I slid in mention of V and Marielle (Gators and TarHeels), Brack (his wife being a non diser), Angie and Dennis, Elaine, Kristina and Andy.

Tomorrow will be Becka and Aaron. Karen will be this afternoon because we'll be with the boys and I'll mention the slumber party. No way will I ever mention pins and magnets and gatherings etc. Just casual chit chatting.

Now - to share with you football fanantics. My loving, caring, DH just pulled his laser pointer out and is analyzing the Michican/Ohio game with my two DSs - these boys are 7 and 9....do you think they can follow his laser pointer?!!!!

that's a great idea!!! sometimes I need someone to do that for me 'cause my eyesight's going and I can't always follow the ball!!

OMG, I pulled a major V yesterday.
The game was at 3:30, my mom did not get here until 11:30 so we were hauling can all the way up there. When we got into ROCK 104 country we flipped the radio station to find Mic Hubert calling the game.......the game actually started at NOON! OMG! We got there, parked and went in for the last few plays......
WTH, since we were there we went to CJ's for some oysters and beer and watched a little bit of the OSU game before heading home. What a waste of gas.

Oh man! I did that when we went to see Lion King. I was only a half hour off though and we were getting there "in plenty of time", so we just missed the opening, which I HEARD was amazing!!

My family was booked for this cruise and really looking forward to it when we found out we had a surprise baby on the way. Anyway, I wanted to show you my reason for cancelling. I think he's worth it.

Dr. Hug - can you give us the 101 on sea sickness options?

My MIL says not to worry about it. But I think we should all have something with us in case it is needed. But I don't want to end up sick like PJ.

I understand if you don't feel comfortable posting an answer.

I'm not DrHug, but I know what he tells me to take. I take meclizine each morning. It lasts 24 hours and by taking it when I first get up it cuts down on the drowziness (which it is not supposed to cause - BUT...). Kids cannot take this though. He also recommends ginger, which is what we will give Aaron for at least a day or so just to be sure.

Remedial Math will be offered at 3 PM in Diversions by yours truly on Monday afternoon. For most of you attendance is optional however for Caroline they are going to be mandatory. Actually attendance will be mandatory for most of you....there has been a lot of bad math on this thread!

I am applying for an exemption from the math class. I got 720 on the math part of the SAT and took 2 years of calculus.
(That was in 1983; don't ask me anything now. Those brain cells were sacrificed somewhere along the way.)

DH wants to know about pin trading on this cruise. I PM'd Brack because I know he is a pin trader but what about the rest of you? DH is trying to decide which pins to bring on the cruise with him because I won't let him pack his BIG book - gotta save space somehow!

DH has his game this afternoon so I have the kids by myself! I hope they take pity on me and at least attempt to behave. I don't have high hopes.... Nathan lately has just been crazy! He cannot seem to settle down. He is contantly moving and making so much noise!

He's too excited to sleep! Trip to Grandma's and then a Disney Cruise!!
