Now I'm even more confused... says we're only allowed one ziplock bag... and this is what it says about meds...
Declare larger liquids. Prescription medications, baby formula and milk are allowed in quantities exceeding three ounces and are not required to be in the zip-top bag. Declare these items for inspection at the checkpoint.

I'm still browsing around the site so maybe I'll find out more about meds, but I think the whole airport security thing is going to be really stressful for me.

Tynk, I have travelled a lot since the restrictions and it really is not as bad as it sounds. I usually take carmex and lotion with me then just buy water in the airport. Everything else is packed. Even when there were no liquids allowed, they still always allowed my inhaler and I can usually wait for everything else. The problem is with people who do not know the rules and then have to throw everything away. They back up the lines etc... I have actually found the lines are much worse at check in because everyone is checking bags. Security has not been too bad. Hope that helps!

Ok, a question for the women... do underwire bras set off the metal detectors? :confused3 I don't recall it ever being a problem for me in the past and that's the kind I wear but I just read this on the TSA site...

Avoid wearing clothing, jewelry or other accessories that contain metal when traveling through the security checkpoints:

Heavy jewelry (including pins, necklaces, bracelets, rings, watches, earrings, body piercings, cuff links, lanyards or bolo ties)
Clothing with metal buttons, snaps or studs
Metal hair barrettes or other hair decoration
Belt buckles
Under-wire bras
Hidden items such as body piercings may result in your being directed to additional screening for a pat-down inspection. If selected for additional screening, you may ask to remove your body piercing in private as an alternative to the pat-down search.
Take metal items such as keys, loose change, mobile phones, pagers, and personal data assistants (PDAs) out of your pockets.
Place heavy jewelry and other metal items in your carry-on baggage or in plastic bags if they are offered, until you clear security.
Pack all your coats and jackets in your baggage when possible. All coats and jackets must go through the X-ray machine for inspection. These include, but are not limited to, trench coats, heavy winter coats, suit jackets, sport coats and blazers. If you choose to wear an outer coat or jacket to the checkpoint, you will need to either place it in your carry-on or put it in the bin that is provided for you.

Dody, I for one have NEVER had a problem with this one.

Lisa - you should have let us have fun on Caroline's thread because then more people might have stayed away. It looks like it is unfortunately going to take a nasty turn over there. :sad2: I feel like I had to defend her.

How sad am I? I bought the padded envelopes and they are still sitting in my house and now it is too late to send off for the bracelets. I need some kind of therapy. :sad2:

Kim - Would you mind bringing ours to the terminal since I am such a forgetful moron. :rolleyes1

no problem! You are on my saved list!

Unfortunately no but maybe we can stir up a little something on the main board for fun to help the day go faster.... :rolleyes1 Any ideas? :stir:

Go ask if you can wear shorts in the dining room again. HAHAHAHA popcorn::

Then, if you could start a thread about the "bad disney service" that would also be fun.

But really, we don't want to get Lisa into another quagmire she has to fix, so get a fake name.

Is there a smilies with a knight on a white horse?
I love that you guys are so protective of each other. I appreciated the people who were answering her question. See, that's the reason why I lurk the boards sometimes its difficult to sense tone. Hopefully that person didn't mean to be so judgemental without knowing the deal. :confused3 I still think its sweet that you spoke up though becka. Others don't know what a tight bunch the 12/9 group is and that Caroline is a sweety and isn't try to pull anything over on DCL or other passengers.

Well she did call me a not so smart math genius or something like that and that kind of friendship has it's rewards! ;) :rotfl:

I think the lady looked like she was enjoying it or something...it was just creepy to have someone feel for your underwire...

I mean...a lady to feel for my underwire.

You would rather that one of the guys did it? :rotfl:

Dody, is it close by? I would go down there and demand that someone be assigned to it so that you have a contact!

The office that our reservation originated at is not close at all. It was my BF's travel agent and so it was near her house, we have an office just down the street and DH told them he wanted our file sent to someone at the office near our house and we were told "No, they will not do that" :furious: DH asked about who would get our file and they told him someone at that office but they were unsure who so DH insisted that when it was assigned he wanted a business card sent to us. We never received any notification of it being assigned and this was over a month ago. We let it slide but now that it's doc time I think we need to call them again. :furious:

If our rooms don't get upgraded by DCL or if we don't upgrade at the port, I am not sure what DH will want to do with it. I may have to stay there after he gets clued in a few things. popcorn::

She is trying to lure you there. Next it will be candy. Hold out for a WDW trip! :thumbsup2

now it's ~ she's babysitting the new puppy...ugh no thanks, that will be cute for 2 minutes and then the girls will try and squich it to death.

then my Grandma will call....with the "we don't get to see you" routine. HELLO.........none of them have anyone to worry about (in terms of getting ready, packing up etc..) and could all easily come here. I have three children I have to drag around.

I am tired and I think I am starting to get a cold or something.. :( My eyes are watering, I have a bit of a headache and I am starting to feel that lovely pressure in my head. :sad2:

It is going to be a loooooooong drive tonight.....

Is it time to leave yet? :rolleyes1
I wish. it's only 3:30 and we still have 2 people that need to pick up checks. we told them we would be closed at 4. both checks are for evictions. I guess I will be staying.
