Something weird is going on with me today and no I have not been drinking or taking drugs. When I stand up, it's almost as if I can't feel my legs are there. After lunch it sort of went to my arms as well. I don't know what is going on...but I am worried. I don't even know how to describe it to my dr without sounding crazy.

I think it's the excitement that is building!! At least I hope so. :grouphug:

Got to go to bed. Don't tell John but Sophia is still up and it is a school night. Is 11:00 too late for a 6 year old???? I am a bad mommy!!!

oh well she is Star of the Week and tomorrow is favorite toy and she is taking her "real" baby doll so I know she will want to go to school to show off Matilda, yes.. that is what she named her???
Our kids were always night owls. DS was in daycare at 3 and they made him take a 2 hour nap. I could never get him to sleep before 10 or 11 and we got up at 6:30. He managed to grow up healthy and turned out ok. :confused3

Will he watch Disney movies with me?? I'm up for it.
Sure, and he likes to dance to the songs (especially if he's in the medicated hyperdrive state). But if he's in the sick cranky state, then you get to read stories instead.

Should we all go add to the pet peeves..."The cruise was fine, but I wish DCL would start making children wear clothing on Deck 6..."
:lmao: :rotfl2: That ought to get a rise out of some of them! :lmao:

I HATE snakes.

A friend's children have snakes, she knows I hate them, but that did not stop her from trying to put one in my face. I almost killed myself trying to get away from that stupid thing.

"Snakes, why did it have to be SNAKES!"

What movie? (not Disney)

(Please note, this is not an insignificant Post)

I think DH watched some of that game then switched to raking leaves.

I've always thought the Falcons were too big for their britches ever since they insisted they needed a DOME to play in Georgia! My taxes at work thank you.

Oh! Arthur Blank (Falcons Owner) has one of my quilts! I didn't get to speak to him, just one of his assistants, but the quilt is on his boat!

Bet you didn't think I could turn football talk into quilt talk did ya?

That is pretty cool Patsy! Good talk twisting there. :thumbsup2 :rotfl: :rotfl:

It's like you live in another time.... slower pace and more relaxed than our lives. The days of Mayberry... I would love to live on that mountain... I'm serious!!!
It is different..I think...my generation is the first to attend college. My brother, one of my cousins, and I all went. I do love where I live. I always joke that we are going to move to FL...but I would be so homesick!

I know I almost posted "get over it people it is a disney cruise there will be children" but thought better of it!!
Me too. I came here to say it where is is safe. I know everyone on this thread has unruly children! :rotfl2: ;)

I skipped some pages because Amy pm'd me and told me she was being naughty . . .

Just wanted to say Dennis, Thank you for your service, and those of us who have not had that experience can never truly understand what you must have gone through- please forgive us for not always being able to relate . . . Our service people are heroes.

Whoever posited (yes it is posited, not posted - if anyone is trying to catch me in a mistake) the question on saving this thread, I would love to know if that can be done. It would be really cool. Even if we can only save it electronicaly, it would be nice. Someday they may need room on the server and need to delete us! :rotfl2:

I thought that Emmitt was great! I didn't like Mario's freestyle at all. He just comes off like a spoiled brat.
One very hot and sexy spoiled brat!! ;)

I got an email from my Dsis today......

Her and her DH are both in Air Force Reserves. My BIL (also an Andy. HA, HA) got back from a year of active duty about 18 months ago. He was in Kuwait for awhile, then back here in Dover, then at Ramstine in Germany.
Dsis was a wreck during that time with a 1 yr old and such.... (Which is how my 16 mo Dnephew ended up on the Sept 04 Wonder trip with us)

Now my Dsis is working full time for about the last year and her DH is being called up again. They say it's only for 6 months though... But the sad part is that this time they are required to take their weapons with them.

Guess where .....

Afghanistan.... They won't have any kind of cushy jobs either. It's kinda a guard the plane while we fix it or load stuff and don't get shot at or your head blown off.....

He leaves Jan 15th..... My Dsis's b-day is the 16th (There's a present)

To top matters off...Her base is closing and their unit is being relocated and they want her in a unit that travels to FL for duty weekends....Like yah with a 3 yo..... I wish i lived closer so i could help her out...She's in NE Philly.

Wow Kristina! I hope they get through this ok. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: What is with the Air Force? My niece told me today that they are shutting down their base in Georgia. It will take a few years, but her DH's job is the first being phased out. She has to move back there soon upon his return, then move again some time early next year.

Over here, where children hit others in the first day of preschool, destroy flowers, bite their sisters, take hold of their parts, and, most of all, go without pants!

I've seen plenty with drink in hand!

BTW, you don't have to stand in any particular order, just how you arrive.
I don't think I have ever read or heard that you could not bring your drink with you. :confused3

Brandi, that is about the sweetest thing I ever heard! My grandmother passed a few years back and she was the first really "close" person whom I had lost. My other grandparents were all gone by the ime I was 1. The worst part was, I was in Cape Cod at the time. My family decided not to let me know that she was in the hospital because she seemed to be doing good. The she passed during the night. They still didn't tell me because I would be driving home the next day and they didn't want me driving while that upset. I could tell something was up when my riend's DH called her on our drive home and she suddenly was more quiet. I came home to a house full of people, including my brother who lives over an hour away. I honestly thought they were just being nice... Until my dad came down the steps...

Wow. That is SOO much like what happened with my mom...she's been gone 2 years in Jan. She developed a rare cancer; they found it in Summer 2004 and didn't actually find the true diagnosis until Fall 2004.

She had started going down hill Dec 2004; we went up to see her and she was in very bad shape, nothing like I've ever seen before...I didn't even recognize her. They had basically pulled her from treatments and she was living out her time at home.

I came up and stayed around the holiday and she was fairly stable. I went back to MD as I was missing alot of time at work I couldn't afford; 2 weeks went by and nothing new...the next weekend we decided we could get back up to see how she was doing. We showed up and the house was full of people...aunts and uncles I hadn't seen in decades....my brothers...the first words out of my mouth, "wow, its a full house...". Then my dad came to me.... :sad2: She had passed shortly before I arrived...

I hate snakes too! EEEWWW!! Babysitter for DD#1 used to have a snake in one of the bedrooms, I would NOT go in there! She would laugh and say "Your daughter takes a nap in there!" Ha Ha. I'm still not going in there!
