Our family drives far to come to our house too. Uncle and aunt from Idaho will have about a 9 or 10 hour drive - depending on stops and they are in early 80s. Nephew and his family come from Whidby Island in Washington State and with the ferry time off the island they too will have about an 8 hour trip. They bring their travel trailer and park here on our property. Others have between 2 and 4 hour drives. Only DrHug's brother and his family live within 30 min of us (and our DDs of course). Most of them stay in hotel downtown and arrive either Tues (my uncle so they will have a day to rest up) or Wed. They start leaving on Friday and some of them stay over until Sunday.
That sounds very nice Angie. I guess you will be very busy with your whole family around!

:rotfl2: Does he think people in FL don't get to enjoy chocolate? :confused3
Honestly I was annoyed with him last night. I told him I would let it up to the jury (you guys). The jury is back...and he lost!!!!

I bought santa and reindeer bags. I have chocolate reese bells, miniatures, and other stuff. I need to get working on that!

hey gang, just wanted to say hello. I'm over 300 pages behind, not sure how on earth I will ever catch up! I'm digging out from the piles of toys, balloons and clothes that are piled in the family room after the boys 2 birthday parties yesterday. They had 1 combined friends party at the Minnesota Children's Musuem yesterday morning. The a combined family party at Don Pablos last night for dinner. Now I just have to finish my Christmas shopping and get through Thanksgiving, then I can start packing for the cruise. Oy, this is feeling a little crazy.

Hope everyone is doing great!!
Hi Tana!!!! :wave2:

I know what you guys mean....I love sharing WDW with new people! I hope I never take someone who does not "get it".
You know, I am really ashamed to say this, :guilty: but.......oh this is difficult, but I know I am safe with this group....ok here goes. We have actually raised a child that "does not get it." :sad2: There, I said it. DD #2 does not like DL much, went to WDW with us and liked Typhoon Lagoon and Epcot ok, but not the rest much. :bitelip: How could this happen in a good family like ours?? :confused3

I can't watch any of those horror flicks....Friday the 13th, Exorcist, Freddy Kruger, etc.

I love to scare myself. Like more thriller than gore. Exorcist was one that did me in though. Oh, and the Blair Witch Project! :scared1:

Have a great afternoon. I am going to continue knocking things off of my precruise to do list!

We didn't get mail. Our post offices were also closed!

Alright, were we the only ones?? I feel like I am in a time warp though sometimes. This will drive me nuts, so I will have to ask when I go to the PO Maonday. I could swear it was yesterday...

I don't think it will melt at all. He thinks it will melt in FL. Do you think he is nuts? Do you think the chocolate will be fine?
I agree with all the others. If you don't leave it in the car it should be fine. Everything is airconditioned. :thumbsup2

Today is a blah day here in more ways than one. Besides the rain, DD had a bad night with her allergies and was up coughing most of the night. I took DS to CCD but came home with him afterwards because I'm not quite right today. Also, MIL left a message on the machine this morning that she is having stereotactic surgery tomorrow at 5 am. We haven't called her to talk about it yet. I don't have a good feeling.

Good to see you back! What is the latest on your FIL? :grouphug:
Thanks for asking. He is still in the hospital, and is recovering from the stroke better than we had hoped.

You may recall he was in the hospital when he had the stroke....well, they are now trying to fix the problem he was originally in for. They though it was his gallbladder, but have changed their mind. He is nauseus and can't eat.

It has been stressful, but it looks like he will be OK. We hope he will be much better before our cruise date. A little voice in my head says we may have to cancel....hope not, pray not, dw says definiatly not.

Thinking good thoughts :thumbsup2
