You know, I am really ashamed to say this, but.......oh this is difficult, but I know I am safe with this group....ok here goes. We have actually raised a child that "does not get it." There, I said it. DD #2 does not like DL much, went to WDW with us and liked Typhoon Lagoon and Epcot ok, but not the rest much. How could this happen in a good family like ours??

Oh no Angie!!! I hope that doesn't happen to my children! I will never understand why some people don't get it..I guess they just don't!

Yes, enjoy your children while you can, there may come a day when one of them will say, "I don't really want to go to Disney with you."

Thanks for asking. He is still in the hospital, and is recovering from the stroke better than we had hoped.

You may recall he was in the hospital when he had the stroke....well, they are now trying to fix the problem he was originally in for. They though it was his gallbladder, but have changed their mind. He is nauseus and can't eat.

It has been stressful, but it looks like he will be OK. We hope he will be much better before our cruise date. A little voice in my head says we may have to cancel....hope not, pray not, dw says definiatly not.

Thank you. That is pretty sad, isn't it? Actually it is the crowds that bother her ALOT. She has some panic issues in crowds, so I guess we will forgive her and love her anyway. It was not crowded at all at Epcot when she was there and I think that is why she liked it ok.

Good Afternoon!

I have been busy this morning PACKING! Then I of course had to try clothes on the kids - that is a total nightmare especially with Allie. Then I had to panic because they have grown more than I expected these past two months.

I pulled out the suitcases and started loading stuff up and it is amazing how fast they fill up. I can't believe how much stuff we are planning on bringing. I have to find some way to cut back. It is scary in our bedroom right now with cruise stuff everywhere.

Speaking of DD #2. I think DrHug mentioned that she hooked up with a couple of guys and formed a band. Well, they started playing in a tavern in a tiny town for no pay (just tips), and now have gigs scheduled in a Casino over on the coast and a couple of taverns around that are paying them. The casino job will pay them about $300 each. They spent yesterday at our house, downstairs, making a recording to send out as a demo to get more gigs. She sings and plays bass guitar on some of the songs. One of the guys is really, really good on the guitar and has a good voice too. He is "older", around our age. She seems to be having fun with it and the little $$ will help her out also.

I'm going to see if I can find something to eat, then start on the kitchen. I have lots to do in there for TG. I did clean the oven yesterday, so it is all ready to get splattered up again.

We have the first roast from our cow in the crock pot right now...rump roast. I don't think I have ever cooked a rump roast before so I hope it turns out well.

Alright, were we the only ones?? I feel like I am in a time warp though sometimes. This will drive me nuts, so I will have to ask when I go to the PO Maonday. I could swear it was yesterday...

You really did not have mail on Saturday. Maybe you left Friday's mail in the box and saw it on Saturday.

Acutally it wasn't. The movie was filmed at Seneca Creek State Park..you know, the one there on Clopper Road. I found a few sources that say that, they even mention the Christmas light show they have there.

Just woke up from a nap!!!! Since it is quiet with Lance sleeping I was able to do some catching up on posts... It is windy and cold here today and I am glad that we played outside yesterday when it was so warm!!! I am so proud of everyone packing... I just don't have the energy to start.....
