I am being tempted more and more to get an iPod but most of music is on my laptop anyway. I am bringing it.

Brack, Don't you use XM radio? Check out the new Personal reciever. It is a lot like the iPod (music only). You can buy songs, play mps, and control the music as well as play live xm and record for later xm.

DH and I are really tempted.

John, LONG story with her in previous episodes. It was great how they handled this because prior to this season she was not a very sympathetic character. Ty did not want to be on New Caprica at all. She made him go. She was a boozing, sleeping around kind gal who was forever getting him into bad situations and that's being nice about it. They did a fantastic job this season because if you told me that I would feel bad that she was dead I would never have believed you.

Oh, OK then, glad she's dead.

how exciting Brandi!!! My Mom and I went to CKU in Chicago last year and it was pretty fun. Have you been to Scrapbook Escape in AZ by any chance? I am thinking of saving up for that, it sounds heavenly.

I have never been to AZ. That would be awesome. I just don't think I could go that far away without my DH. You can all laugh at me...but I like going places with him.

I have received a free .mac account, and a 30 and a 80gb iPod this year as reward for sales and a marketing idea, I am on payroll, even if it is not in my pay packet, lol.

We went to McCormick and Schmick's for dinner. They have a free dinner for veterans each year for Veterans Day. Dennis got his free meal and we bought mine. We had salmon and it was yummy. It is also pretty awesome to sit in the room with all those heros. There was a table of about 20 people right by us and they were all marines from different eras, both male and female. The whole restaurant is packed with vets every year. Dennis thanked the hostess for doing this and she said it is their pleasure and that this is the most exciting day in the restaurant, including Christmas. She then said "don't get me choked up here". How nice is that??

After dinner I worked out and now I am waiting for Amazing Race to start. Football ran way late so it won't be on for another 30-40 minutes. After that I will watch DH (or DHW for those of you who are acronym impaired... ).

BTW - weather really warmed up here today! It was in the 50's and I spent a lot of time outside with the dog. She had a great time playing fetch and going for a walk.

OMG I so agree. I remember the dry milk phase. My mother mixed it partially with "real" milk(what 2 drops?!) and swore it tasted the same. GAG!

WHy would you do that? I didn't think that people actually drank dry milk! Look what I know!!! Yikes!

As those of us in Canada can download, but not upload (craziness, I know,) Brack have they not been able to take CC in the past or is this a current issue? I found some songs, that are on iTunes but only within full albums, but I could get as individual songs, I really want to purchase some, any ideas?

I broke mine years ago when Alex was a baby. I was rushing to get him, he was crying in his swing, and I caught my little tow onj the couch leg. needless to say my toe was going in the wrong direction after that. Hurt like *^**&*&. Tape it up is all they can do, and give you some great pain pills. It still bothers me when it rains, and some shoes I can't wear because that stupid toe swells up!

I broke something in my foot when I lived in NO. There was a 6 foot fence inbetween the apartments where I lived and a friend lived. She was sick so I wanted to run some meds over to help her out before work but work was just down the street from me. The blocks down there are HUGE so I climbed the fence...just like she did so many times. I didn't land right & shook it off then went back over to get to work. Later that night after limping around with pizzas all night I put my foot up on a chair. The delivery driver's eyes popped out of his head. My sock was scrunched down around my ankle and what he could see was black & blue. It went up my leg a few inches. When I went to take my shoe off he yelled no don't touch it!!! It was so swollen. I soaked it for days whenever I wasn't working. I also felt it for years whenever it got damp outside. Thankfully I don't have to deal with that anymore.

I feel your pain Becka. DW is surprised I still have a big toe on my right foot. I am such a clutz - run it into all kinds of things. DW says because it is such a BIG big toe.

BTW - had a scare tonight - we are going to see the Cheetah girls Wed night, and just told Sophie today. Well, guess what, we could NOT find the tickets tonight! Turned every paper storage place in my desk upside down. I was ready to go NUTS.

Then as I am putting stuff away . . . look where we keep our Birth certificates, and other important stuff - there they are - sigh of relief.

(no honey, now we are not going to see the Cheetah girls, your stupid daddy put the tickets somewhere for safekeeping, and now cannot find them)
