our TOT was quite interesting. it finally stopped raining about 5:30. TOT was 6 to 8. DS goes over to a friends house, I stay at the friends house with their full grown boxer and hand out candy, DD hands out candy at our house, DH gets home about 6:30 and stays with DD, DS & I come back about 7:45 so that DS can go to neighbors' houses. Then we head over to FIL & MIL for FIL's birthday. Every year no matter if it is a school night or not we celebrate FIL's birthday on halloween. He isn't sure if he was born on the 31st because his birth certificate says the 30th but he has celebrated it on the 31st for as long as he can remember. It was a lot harder when the kids were younger. they would always be so tired after TOT and then have to go to grandparents house. over all the evening went well. DD had fun, DS had fun, Mom stayed dry & warm, and DH was able to relax while handing out candy.

Here's that new iPod Brandi wants, and that all the DIS Geeks have been waiting for . . .

Kristina, thanks for checking with DCL about the Wild Side. Christa says she doesn't care if it is sunday or friday, so long as she gets to go. She is so excited about getting to go somewhere during the cruise without her little brother. but she also is excited because her little brother can visit the teen club because of the group he is in now. go figure

we need a button "the banana expert"

Two young children, Jimmy and Susan, (who had never seen or eaten bananas) were on a train. Seated opposite them was a soldier who had just come back from duty in the tropics. He had in his lap a bunch of bananas.
Jimmy asked the soldier "What are those yellow things?" The soldier explained that they were bananas and asked the children if they would each like to have one. They eagerly said "yes". The soldier then showed them how to pull down the peel to get at the banana fruit.
Just as Jimmy and Susan took a bite of their banana, the train entered a dark tunnel and the carriage interior was pitch black.
Jimmy then cried out "Susan, don't take a bite out of yours. I've just gone blind."

Excuse me...are we not exciting enough for you????

I have had to split my time. I had to finish my homework while Dising and watching TV!!!! I am just like a kid!!! I only have 2 more assignments and a final exam...then I am finished...my master class will be over and I will be a graduate!! I will be soon...so very soon!!!!

Here are the words to the original Chiquita Banana theme song.

I'm Chiquita Banana, and I've come to say
Bananas have to ripen in a certain way.
And when they are flecked with brown and have a golden hue,
Bananas taste the best, and are the best for you.
You can put them in a salad. You can put them in a pie - aye.
Anyway you want to eat them it's impossible to beat them.
But bananas like the climate of the very, very tropical equator.
So you should never put bananas in the refrigerator.

PJ congrats on VWL. we were there august 2005 with Dneice & Dnephew. I would much rather have done that DVC with just my family. the kids were a little young and didn't really enjoy the atmosphere as much as I think we would have alone. I hear that they have redone the rooms again. They looked gorgeous when we were there.
