Just wanted everyone to know that's it's getting harder to meet my goal of no heat until Nov 1....

I'm sitting her drinking tea in a sweater covered by a sweatshirt and I'm going for a blanket...

Kristina - I thought of you....we really haven't needed to use it and then the other day we turned it on....something is wrong...we dont have heat. And worse, I guess, is that my MIL is here from Florida. Not a good thing. We do have an alternate gas fireplaces in sevearl rooms that we're using, but the thought of having to replace our heat pump after only 4 years is killing me. Worse thought is that the warranty on the unit wore out 2 months ago. If they really give us grief we're ready to fight ....again!!

We have so messed up our kids.

Someone here is shooting off fireworks (why we dont' know ) and DH took DS out to see them for a few minutes. He came in and said "All the fireworks moved far away from Disneyworld so we can see them here".

Have I told you guys that our office is doing "Hippie Day" for halloween? Last year several friends and I dressed up as the village people and won a prize. This year it is hippie....I just finished putting daisies all over a strip of leather for a necklace and then some pink green material to make bell bottoms.

ok this one is pretty embarassing but as long as Lisa told the story about DD peeing on the corner, I can tell another one about Giona.

His nursery school teacher has a fake boulder in her front yard, as ornament?
He stood on top of it and pulled down his pants in front of several other kids and peed like the Dutch boy fountain. It was both funny and mortifying. I just can't understand where they would get the idea that that was kosher. He didn't go behind a tree, he stood in the middle of the yard on top of a rock. Definitely some self esteem issues there.
