Weather here is terible also. Rainy and very windy. John and Alex are at the big footbal game today. It is a high school game and a huge deal. It is a tradition and over 100 years old Several years ago Sports Ill. did a big story on the game, cover and everything!!

Actually the weather here is very weird.... Raining one minute with hail and thunder and lightening and now I look out and it is snowing!! The wind is terrible!! Another crack of thunder with the snow!!!!

The weather is nasty here as well. Rained and rained last night, our electric went out this morning, sunny and fairly warm this afternoon, VERY windy and light rain tonight. Guess Mother Nature can't make up her mind!

I was beginnign to feel like no one could see my posts or hear my question.

Yes - got your message....but too late. our flights are at 59 which is great. I need to load that DINGee thingee...haven't done that yet. The only time I use my home computer is for Dis. I use the computer too much at the office...have no interest in getting on at home.

Now back to the main issue - there are a slew of Ty Pennington threads started on many Dis boards. Go check out the main cruise board.

I'm just trying to figure out what is going on. It is drivign me bonkers.

Ok...funny story but not about peeing anywhere....when Devon was little we were in a Target in Philly and were shopping (of course). We turned into another aisle and there was a teenager with a big pointy mohawk haircut that stuck up real tall.

Devon screams out, "LOOK MOM, Indian Hair!" We just turned and walked away.

It's been windy all day..sun was out earlier but not much warmth....

Only three items left to purchase for our pirate costumes .....

Devon wanted a black skirt made but i ended up just buying black valour gauchos at Walmart..(So much easier)

Looks like I picked a quiet day to go away.

We did end up going to the zoo today and we had a really good time. Apparently Boo at the Zoo is a big deal and the zoo was really busy. The kids seemed to enjoy themselves and the weather was quite nice. We needed jackets/coats in the morning but by the afternoon all we needed was sweatshirts. I hope to have some pictures later.

Right now DH is watching the Mizzou game that he recorded when we were gone. DD is in bed...the zoo wore her out and DS is playing with the animal motorcycle toys he got at the zoo gift shop. I was going to catch up here but it looks like not much is going on. I probably should get off and do something productive. In fact I hear DD calling for me right now.... I will check in later.

Great to hear your trip went off without a hitch. Zoos are so much fun! DS feeling better?
