DING kinda screwed up our computer as well. I think we finally had to remove it.

We need to re-book tickets too but we just heard that Jet Blue will be flying to Orlando in Dec. - have to check which airport they fly to. I guess Sanford is actually closer to the port - what do you all think?

You know she seems like she has so much going right - I think we have to overlook some of the few things that don't go quite as well as planned. LOL.

I think with Devon and the manure thing - I remember that part of teenage hood where I wanted to please other authority figures but took my parents for granted. You just need to keep reminding her about how invaluable you are, like for arcade cards etc. LOL.

I always tell my friends kids about how much I love their parents and why they are so important to me - it really makes them squirm - but I think it gives them another perspenctive about how thier parents aren't totally useless.

I need a cruise is what I need...I just wish I could find some time in like a few weeks or so and just get away, like to the beach and ...Mexico...yeah, that would be cool.

Looks like I picked a quiet day to go away.

We did end up going to the zoo today and we had a really good time. Apparently Boo at the Zoo is a big deal and the zoo was really busy. The kids seemed to enjoy themselves and the weather was quite nice. We needed jackets/coats in the morning but by the afternoon all we needed was sweatshirts. I hope to have some pictures later.

Right now DH is watching the Mizzou game that he recorded when we were gone. DD is in bed...the zoo wore her out and DS is playing with the animal motorcycle toys he got at the zoo gift shop. I was going to catch up here but it looks like not much is going on. I probably should get off and do something productive. In fact I hear DD calling for me right now.... I will check in later.

wow - it's a complete boycott - it must have been something I said. LOL.

I am sorting clothes and setting stuff aside for the cruise. I'm glad I shopped for some things early because I feel it coming up so quickly already - almost Nov. 1. I'm not thinking about xmas shopping at all but I usually start now.

We spent the afternoon at the Ohio State game - beat Minnesota 44 - 0. So still Number 1.

When the Oregon State score went up - big cheer in the Ohio stadium. Oregon State beat #2 USC. Was that the problem?

Hi all! Visiting my parents this weekend... left the kids with them while we went to the mall... found my SPANX bodysuit at Nordstrom and love it... got new sunglasses... new Sleeping Beauty jacket for Sarah @ the Disney Store, and DH tried on a few suit jackets to see what his post-weight-loss size is for tux rental sizing...

Just checked on our Delta flights and they've been changed again! (return only so not a big deal) -- if you're on Delta, check your itinerary!

Hi Everyone.

I've been making my lion costume ALL DAY LONG!!! ugh...I'm so tired. For not having a pattern...never doing it before and not being a seamstress...I'm happy with the results. Now I have to wait for my son to home home from the hockey game so I can do one final fitting and ROAR! Lion!!

Well, since my in-laws live in Egypt, they aren't up to making the trip. We can't understand each other anyway, but I am sure my MIL would do alot of cooking and cleaning if they ever did come.

Just to give everyone a taste of what I'm up against this weekend, mine got up after a made a yummy vegatable lasagna and went over to sit on the couch to rest her eyes....no taking her plate off....no helping to clear the table....nothing.

I've been running around like a mad lady trying to get so much done today....and she sat there.

The other thing that erks me...she sits there and talks about her daughter and son in law to us - what they are doing wrong with their lives and the fights they had, etc. I finally got the nerve to ask her if she talks about us to them and she said "sometimes." She actually admitted it. I hate how she talks about her own family behind their backs. Just not a nice lady. I'm glad they all went to the hockey game. Gives me some time to de stress.

I saw Davy Jones at the Flower and Garden festival in May. He was bad-mouthing the other Monkees - not too flattering for him I thought - because who really cares at this point. He was pretty bad too. He lives very close to WDW - the only reason I can think they invited him. LOL.

We saw some great concerts last year at the Food and Wine Festival. The Temptations and the Four Tops - really good.

Thanks Angie - but according to Wildlife 101....lions are brown/yellow...and tigers are orang....

...the funny thing is ... i got all excited when I found this orange striped tiger material the other day.....till i realized it wasn't a lion.
