I need to decide on a quick dinner idea for tomorrow. Does anyone have any fun, quick and easy Halloween-y dinner ideas? I don’t really do “theme” dinners….too close to crafy type behavior…but maybe something small.

Halloween dinner has to be QUICK! No one wants to eat it anyway when the doorbell is already ringing!

LOL! You think *I* am Kelly Ripa? I HATE crocs!!!! There is no way that I could relate to her....even though her DH is kind of cute.

For some reason my signature picture of Allie has been corrupted or something. It is not even over on my website – just a big red X. I hope I will be able to fix her picture or if not I will just have to make a new one. Maybe I can use a picture of her in her Dalmation costume.

..ummmm....dance floors and ....ummmmm...dining rooms.....my DSs love to get up in the middle of dinner if a good song is being played.

Karen, my ds does this too. Saturday I took the boys out to breakfast. Jackson gets up and starts dancing around for about 15 minutes. He wasn't loud or particularly annoying and the restaurant wasn't crowded, but I was kind of rushing JP to finish up his meal so we could get the dancing monkey out of there. JP finally finishes, he and I have our jackets on and ready to go. Dancing monkey decides to sit down and eat for 10 more minutes. ARGH!

DrHug also had to stop at Shutterbug to drool over the cameras. Brack, he ALMOST bought the Canon 5D. We'll see if he has time to go back before we leave. He will have to work a few extra days to pay for it and that won't leave much shopping time. We did pick up a backpack there that will hold his laptop, his c-pap, and camera gear. I am really happy about that. No more big bag for me to have to "hold a minute please." Now I get to hold a minute please a very comfortable backpack!

Well, I heard a voice calling me, as we passed the Shutterbug. It was calling, "Dennis, Dennis, Take me home", over and over again. The voice came from under the cabnet, in a cupboard under the back counter display. It was there that the 5D was hidden away, tortured by the thought that it may be there for a long while, alone and devoid of human contact. As cruel as it sounds, the looks from DW told me to just suck it up and walk away. That poor, poor little camera is probably crying it's eye out.

It pains me to say this......but I'm back at the Library. A snafu with BB. They have to retrieve my data off the old hard drive before we initiate the laptop exchange. Of course, the Geek City place (where poor laptop has been all this time ) is closed on the weekends. Still nothing yet today.


So, settling in to try to catch up a bit.


I'm having the Monday "blahs".

oh noooooo, seriously, do they not understand how important it is that you be able to DIS full time??

Don't worry about Caroline. She was alive and well, sneaking a milestone in the middle of the night last night. Right from under my nose. Good pirate, she be! Arrrrr!

Lesson learned?!?!

Concerning talking to the UNKNOWING about the DIS and things Disney; I am known as the Disneyland Guy at a lot of the Pharmacies I work. It's funny, because I have been to stores for the first time and have been recognized as the Disney guy. I guess I talk too much 'Disney'. But then, you can't really talk too much Disney, can you? I am always trying to sell DVC to people too.
Maybe that will be my retirement job. If people give me funny looks I don't really know the difference. People always give me funny looks anyway.

I had my WW meeting over lunch and I was down again so that puts my total loss right at 10 pounds so that made me happy. Now I just need to keep going at least until the cruise. No candy for me…no candy for me….no candy for me…. Well maybe I could have some eye candy and just avoid the chocolate kind. Grey’s Anatomy is new this week right?

WOOHOO!! Congrats on the 10 pound loss! That's awesome!!

I must admit, I am with Carl on this one (GASP!).

It's another one of those guy things I think . . .

We men are more surface-oriented. Women will more often look below the surface and be attracted to attributes other than looks (I am speaking when they don't really know the person, but know about them). Of course they usually THINK they know the person, and why they are attracted . . . witness that cheerleader and the quarterback. I could give lots of real life examples too.

Most men initially have a "one-track" mind mindset.

I don't think there is one UGLY female celebrity that looks like a heroin addict that I would be attracted to in any way. You won't see many guys chasing after the likes of Janet Reno either . . .
(tried to think of an example similar to Steven Tyler, but all I could come up with is Janet Reno)

I just read this to DH and he agreed 100% He then said "Well you probably didn't see people running after that women who played the detective [Angela Landsbury) (in her day)" He went on to say "It's like that Picard" I contradicted him and said Sorry Picard is sexy and he looked at me with this smirky disbelieving look "Carla if that guy walked by you on the street you wouldn't even pay attention to the bald old guy"
