Microsoft Office, Spysweeper, Norton Antivirus.....not much else. Pretty basic, bare-to-the-bones stuff.

lbgraves said:There are two dining managers in each dining room. They are in charge of everything that happens there. If you want to have your rotation changed or request a certain server, that is who you go see at the Palo resie place. They are usually at the front of the dining room directing traffic. If they did something special for you regarding special dietary restriction help or made a change in seating for you while on the cruise, that is the time you would offer a tip.

lbgraves said:That is the head server. Next in line is your server and assistant server. The head server handles special requests like cakes and diffuses any issues between the servers and in the kitchen. If you don't see them, they are doing their job. You do go to them first if there is a problem. Their boss is the dining manager.
Well there you go...making me feel wanted. Thanks AngieMrsMork said:Well, where ever we finally decide on, you HAVE to be part of the township because we really need a Sunday School teacher to say nothing of the school.![]()

On our last 2 cruises we never saw the head server until the last night! It annoyed me. He did not come around 1 time!!!pyramid2000 said:So who is the dining manager and how/why would you tip him/her?![]()
ds2Mom said:O.K. then, this is good! As I'm completely confused now as to what to get.
What I had: Toshiba Qosmio.
Did not like: Waaaaay too many bells/whistles.
What I need it to do: DISing (have to keep the priorities straight), sending/checking emails, sending/storing pics, basic word processing.
What should I buy?![]()
(Keep in mind, it has to be either in a BB store or ordered from their website).

My DH just told me that AVG free version 7.5 is available and is free still. you just need to download & install. he is running it on our 3 computers with no problem. version 7.1 will no longer be available after jan 2007. I run the professional version at my office and have not had any problems with it. it actually has caught more than either of the other 2 combined.lbgraves said:Drat! I just found out that the AVG virus program will no longer be available after 1/15/07.![]()

That is what we have always used. I hate the thought of having to pay for an anit-virus program but it has done so well. BUMMER! Add to that the fact that our email will be changing due to suddenlink buying out cox and now I am trying to decide if I want to switch to embarq DSL and save $15 a month. As long as I have to switch a gazillion accounts with the email set up I may as well do it to one that will save us money. ACK!!!!!
