What you have is "The Disney Bear." He was pre-Duffy but basically the same bear, except that Duffy does not come in various colors or in a "baby size" like the original. Mine is 17" and I think they will offer a 28" in mid-October. He took on the name Duffy in Tokyo as a new story was created about him. I can't remember if I put the link to my "Duffy: My Disney Bear" site I created for him last week, but I'm going to be posting pics from his "adventures" on next week's Wonder cruise there after we return. Since I have no kids, I'm free to act like one myself!

Thanks so much! Duffy is the only thing I haven't "packed" yet. My carry-on will be nothing more than a nylon LEI shoulder purse that I sometimes carry my netbook in. I put my necessary/non-checked items in there this time after changing my mind several times about what to take. The only problem is Duffy. There is nowhere to put him but I'll be carrying him on. I thought about using one of those drawstring nylon Castaway Club bags they used to give. That would keep him clean through the security check scanner and such. After that he'll stay out for photos. Hmmm. I think his website may end up with a pretty lengthy trip report/blog for such a short cruise!
