12/04/2010 Eastern MAGIC - CHIP 'N' DALE'S CRUISIN' NUTS

Deb - I hope the twins are feeling better today. I know this must be a really tough time for the family.

To all - When I renewed my passport and sent the required two new photos of me, they sent one of those new photos back to me, stapled to my old passport. Is that normal procedure? Has anyone else here had that happen? They needed two new photos. Why send one back unless it's the old one? I'm thinking they may have made a mistake, as I look almost the same in the new photo except for being 10 years older!

In the past they never stapled anything to my old passport. They just voided it even though it had expired.

Added my DDs info to the kids page. So excited for my first trip to Disney this year I leave Thursday going for 7 days. I am going to try a few new things this trip I have never had before. Grey Goose Slushie, fried ice cream and Animal Kingdoms picnc in the park. I am so ready to go.

Thanks ya'll. We have seen improvement in the girls in the last 24 hours - but not enough that they can get out of the house yet. Hopefully tomorrow so they don't miss too much school. Makayla's fever has dropped a lot - but she got the virus first, so guess she is recoverying first. I'm ready to go to work tomorrow, since I'm still fever free, just to get out of the house.

I've not had a passport, ever, to know how the renewal process goes. Ugh, I still need to get moving on getting my birth certificate. .and DH's.

Jenngoofys, I'm ready for a vacation too. Fried ice cream? I want to try the orange drink this year. .I can't remember what it is called at the moment. Played with my ADRs this weekend - as I have decided to go to MVMCP twice while we are there. Didn't want to spend that much $, but we only live once - right? We did enjoy the party very much. Especially the dance party. My DD Maddie danced with Lady Tremaine, was a wonderful memory & video.

Hope your girls feel better soon, I know it mut be hard to be stuck in the house all this time.
Yes fried ice cream it is in Epcot i think they said outside american adventure. I have a post about it somewhere on here lol. when are you going again? I am going again with my family in nov 24th - 30th We are doing the MVMCP on the 29th. This trip is with friends.

We will be in WDW from 11/14th - 11/21st. Right now I have tickets to MVMCP for 11/20th. I plan on getting tickets to 11/17th as well.

I've never had fried ice cream - we are going to have to look for it. :) Sounds worth trying! We have 1 1/2 days planned at Epcot.

The kids page is awesome. My kids had fun describing their interests and activities. Hopefully they will make friends they can keep even after we sail. Both still have friends from the cruise we took in January. Thanks so much for all of your work. My daughter is trying to memorize the chipmunk vacation song now :cool1:

Thanks! I did shorten the "dance, dance and more dance" to just "dance" on the listing. I hope that's okay. ;) Eight Cruisin' Nuts Kids on the list now. Wow! Nice response! I wonder how many pages that list will be over a year from now - lol.

I LOVE that Chip 'n' Dale's Vacation song! Sometimes I find myself singing it or at least the melody while walking around the house or cooking or whatever. Cruise mood music! :dance3:

I havent had fried ice cream yet from EPCOT Ill have to try it and let you know how it is lol.

I think I need to try some of that fried ice cream also. Somehow I've never got around to it!

fried ice cream.. yum!! that was my favorite dessert at Chi-Chis years ago. :)

my kids like going to Paris best for desserts!! Epcot is definitely my favorite park to eat your way through!!

Well I am definetly eating my way through EPCOT I plan on eating at so many places there I may just burst.

Dinners -
coral reef - future world
le cellier - canada
les chef de france - france

lunches -
cantina de san angel - mexico

snacks -
fried ice cream - america
Grey Goose Slushie - think near france
and those are only the ones i have planned lol
EPCOT is definetly the place to eat around the world lol May need a wheel barrow to wheel myself home in but I will be happy lol

we are going to Le Cellier in Nov (never been there).

Mexico is our favorite place to go for lunch. Last year we did England. .fish n chips. we did the reverse route.
being on the dining plan is great.. we may order one meal at each place. :rotfl2: you will be wheelbarrowing me too. :)

My least favorite park for food is Hollywood studios. :confused3 We love Brown Derby, but it isnt worth 2 dining credits. we may do a late dinner at Cape may the day we have planned for HS.

we always seem to go eat at the same places!

When in Nov are you going again? My next trip is Nov 24th - 30th. We are doing Le Cellier on the 28th at 7:50 pm best we could get lol. Last year was the first year we tried it we love it there. We always seem to eat at the same places too but throw a new one in here and there just to try. This trip I am trying le chef de france to see how that is. At Hollywood we always go to sci fi or 50s those are pretty cool places food is better tha counter service and it is entertaining. My least favorite park for food is Animal Kingdom not alot to chose from there. lol

That's fine! She actually wrote the dance part. She is on a very competitive team this year and has dance M, T, Th, F.

We will be off line for a bit enjoying our other cruisin' opportunity- a houseboat on Lake Powell. Our house sitters draw the line at checking my DIS page for me- go figure:confused3. Have a great week everyone.

Have a great time! :cool1:

we are going to Disney 11-20 -- 11-24. our Le Cellier is 7:50 also. We normally do the Fantasmic package at HS, but it is only showing one time the entire week and the package was booked instantly. so no Fantasmic for us... we got too spoiled not having to wait in the regular line.

We are not doing the park hoppers.. or I would have planned more dinners at Epcot.

AK is my least favorite park to go to... I might be the only one but I just dont get the Nemo show. :confused3

The kids love Everest, I do enjoy the safari jeeps though.

We didn't get to see much of AK last year. One of my DDs was scared of characters teh first couple of days - so was begging to leave when she saw some. But we did manage to see FOTLK while there - DH & I loved it. However, with the loud noises & being dark - our DDs were scared. They scared very easily while we were there, something we didn't anticipate happening. We didn't try the Nemo show, as I saw a clip of it on the Travel Channel, and it looked odd to me.

We have only 3 meals planned at Epcot. Askerhush for breakfast, Bierngarten and Teppan Edo. Bierngarten & Teppan Edo will be new to us. I do want to get the fish/chips though - Mickie and I shared an order last year - yum.

Magic3forme - we arrive on the 24th way to late so we wont even have a chance to meet. thats to bad :(

Dato63 - and Magic3forme - I agree the nemo show leaves alot to be desired I just dont get it either I guess.

We spend the least amount of time in DHS only because there are not alot of rides I guess. Mostly shows But our cannot miss show FANTASMIC is there so we have to go lol. Not to mention Lights Motors Action we really enjoy that show too.

We didn't spend a lot of time at DHS either. We all got sick last year, and our DHS day it was DH's time to have the "bug". DHS was packed & hot. It was really the only crowds we saw during our week there. The girls were scared silly at the Little Mermaid show and the Muppet Show. Poor Mickie tried to crawl over people to get out of the theater when Ursula came out on stage at the Voyage of the Little Mermaid. So, we wound up leaving. Didn't want to even try Fantasmic, due their reactions to dark places w/loud noises. I don't see them as being any braver this year.

This year I have planned for us to go to DHS for a short time. Lunch at 50s Prime Time - then to the stunt show - and then hop over to Epcot. DH really wanted to see the stunt show last year. HOpefully we will leave all illnesses at home this year.

DHS is my favorite park. Rock n roller coaster, Tower of Terror (my middle child hates this ride, but we drag her on every year... and she screams and laughs the whole time... and at the end she says.. nope still dont like it.. with a huge grin!!) John jr got to ride RNR last year for the first time, he loved loved it!!!
our favorite new ride there is Toy Story.
Fantasmic is our favorite show, but since we are Disneyaholics.. we dont mind skipping it to do other things. ( I wonder if there is a break in the crowds).

Dato--- dh loves Biergarten!! We did Teppan Edo last year for the first time.. it was very good.

I am sooo glad I am not the only one who doesnt get the Nemo show. :)
